    apart from calling soto a world champ and giving a **** about the wbc i agree.soto is more proving then rios and should shut up

    A closed mouth don't get fed, he's just using his mouth as an attempt to get an early title shot, mandatories are passed over all the time if he talks enough **** and gets under Soto's skin and gets the fight more power to him, i would do the same ****, he just wants to fight the best and become Champ, whats wrong with that, i'll answer nothing.

    Who has Soto beat? A close decision win over Rocky in which that was 5 years ago? Toledo? Gonzalez? Easy wins over shot in the dark Chavez? Shot in the dark Diaz? :lol::lol::lol:


    Peterson who Rios beat is a far better then all of Soto resumes that Soto beat.


    Lets behonest the way Soto is acting, HE'S SCARED TO FIGHT RIOS!!! I repeat HE'S SCARED TO FIGHT RIOS!!!!!!!!!!

    Rios is actually doing something good for his career by mouthing off. He's creating buzz in forums and Soto is actually considering fighting him. Reality is Soto can fight whomever he wants. If he chooses Rios as his next opponent it means Rios' effort in self promotion paid off. Can you blame a strong prospect for wanting a golden opportunity? Doesn't hurt to ask for one, even if it's done in a mean spirited way. Everyone loves a nice guy but, "Excuse me, good sir, may I pretty please have a title shot?" is not going to cut it in the sport of Boxing.

    I like how you put that. I agree. That would elevate him to another level and I could see him having a good chance in the fight.

    Right now, Rios is the WBA #1 ranked contender. That why he fought Anthony Peterson in an elimination bout for the right to fight the WBA Champion (Marquez or Miguel Acosta).
    If Rios wants to fight for a world title, he's already earned the shot for the WBA title, but he hasnt earned the right to fight for the more presitigious title in the world, the WBC.
