It doesn't really matter if some fighters in the top 30 did something crazy. Its about if there are fighters there that didn't do anything crazy that Crawford could replace.

Crawford caps at 154, though he could probably raid as high as 160 or even 168 if he went by the RJJ/ODLH/Nelo/Badou playbook

Him cracking top 30 of all time boils down to era-vs-era. We've gone from belts mattering to not mattering to mattering again. On the flip side, you've got Canelo who has a ton of name value on his record, but is probably a lesser boxer than Bud. It is what it is

It’s too late. He’s already great, but he fights too infrequently to get ranked super high.

If he beats Boots, Tszyu and Charlo becomes undisputed in a 3rd division before another guy becomes undisputed in 2, then beat a top guy or unifies at 160. He is in the conversation. But only if Boots and Tszyu go on to be something special.

He is on course right now barring any ducking and boxing politics i say line em up.Charlo sisters won’t fight him that would mean Tszyu and boots. That’s it.2 years? It’s achievable, indeed.Tough for the haters to take but the way Bud looks he is scary good.

Lets say he beats charlo at 154, skips 160 and beats Canelo at lets say 164 for all of his belts and goes back down to 147/154 to beat Boots ennis who by now hypothetically wins titles and looks spectacular himself.

Unrealistic scenario but does it warrant him a place next to leonard Duran and those of that caliber?

He'd have to step up to SMW or LHW to achieve that. Well out of his comfort zone.

    The greats did it.

Don't want to sound too down on Crawford, he can't help that the era he's in sucks.

    H2H he is interesting.

He could if he got a bit more active and was able to win in two more divisions to become a five division champion with a record of 45-0-0, 35 KOs.

In the next year and a half, if he were to...

Rematch and beat Spence at 154.....

    Beat Jermell at 154.....

Drop back to 147 and beat Ennis.....

    Beat Tszyu at 154.....

    Beat GGG at 160.....

He would be 37 for that last bout and GGG would be 42.

IF GGG was gone by then (probable !), then the top MW of the day.

    Not very probable, but IF....

Then he would have a decent claim to being a top 30.

Spence & Jermell Charlo at 154.

Jhanibek & Jermall Charlo at 160.

Weight in at 161lb and fight Canelo for everything at 168 if he is still around. If he isn’t then it will probably be Benavidez. That puts him up there if he wins them all.
