Having done a bit myself,i respect anyone who is man enough to strap up and step through the ropes.Problem is a lot of folk on here judge people on there geographical location.Fact is if Carl beats Taylor it'll mean nothing cos the doubters will shout about how he beat a Shot Taylor.:-(

He did well enough in the second Pavlik fight to discount shot, but motivation could be argued if he loses. Which I seriously doubt.

It doesn't help that most of the people picking Froch are claiming that Taylor is a mental midget and a pushover before the fight has even taken place.

He has my respect because he a warrior, but he has to beat Kessler. Ofcourse Froch thinks he can beat Kessler, he said he thinks that Kess struggles to make 168 and slows down second half, but he also thinks he'd land one of his bombs and give superman brain damage. By the way what the **** has happened to Kessler. He still having problems with his promoter? Shame he's in his prime

Seconded. He will get a lot of respect from me if he manages to beat Jermain Taylor. IMO the winner of this fight takes the #1 spot at 168.

Sure he does (Kessler), which living fighter doesn't? But discrepancy between Kessler and Taylor are far an apart. Kessler doesn't get called out for lacking motivation, heart, or seriousness. He (Taylor) even stated himself in the lead up to the fight this Saturday; "But I've got the motivation and the hunger again " what does that tell you. If It wasn't there before. Whose to say its there again.

I hear what you're saying San Rafael but I feel this is still true. Even if Froch wins tomorrow it'll be a case of "Yeah but he hasn't fought Bute!" etc etc

History repeats itself; Samuel Peter was much in the same boat 2 years ago ESB was THE Sam Peter fan club of the web.

I don't really care what people say though ultimately I watch boxing for my own enjoyment. That's not me being rude thats just me stating it as I see it.
Its going to be a ******* fight and that's all that matters to me.

Andrade or Bika. I don't care if he wins or loses, but Damn, those would be a couple of great and entertaining fights!

I like his attitude, shame he talks about Calzaghe so much though - they were at different stages of their career so the 'ducking' comments are nonsense. Can see the fight tomorrow going either way.....
