A very poor version at that i like Froch im glad he won and i like his attidude but i DETEST his fighting style!
I'm a bit of a fan, just because i lived very close to him 4/5 years ago. His style annoys me, it annoys me that commentators costantly state that it must change for him to be succesful though. He has always been that way and he always wins eh! Saying that, wish he would raise his defence a bit:good
His left hand is way to low and hes pretty slow to be fair..... but hes still 25-0-0 so it works for him.
It works, but he was nearly exposed here. Kessler would make him look like a fool for it....so would calzaghe!
I would fear for him against Kessler! Them straight rights alone would surely make his chin a normal shape! I know he got dropped (credit to Taylor), but i don't think he ever lost awareness.
For me all he has to do is tighten up the defence keep his hands up more, the rest im fine with and it works for him, but at aged 31 doubt he will change to much now to be honest
If he was Roy Jones he would have either: Never taken the fight with Taylor by pricing himself out or making ridiculous unrealistic demands or would have got brutally KO by one of those big right hands Taylor hit Froch with. Roy has a horrible Glass Jaw and can't even take the punches from a guy like Glen Johnson much less Jermain Taylor. Roy Jones is a Glass Jawed fraud.
Personally i like the way he fights, for the simple reason that his style always seems to make for an exciting fight. If his style contributes towards an exciting fight then how can i possibly hate it?:bart
I have said for a long time that Froch looks like a stiff slow robot trying to imitate RJJ with flying left hooks and hands down low but Froch is a true warrior. Kessler is technical sound and more skilled than Froch but Carl has power and Kessler was winded badly by feather fisted Calzaghe.
What are you, 10 years old or what? anybody would have go down with that punch. Clean and right on the temple. Your father did not hit you there too hard, that's why you don't know. But let me give you some excuse for Roy: weigh drain.
