    Great post

But Fury could beat prime Ali or Lewis fresh out of the time machine and the haters on here would still say he's a bum and find stupid excuses to undermine the win

Look, he could invent a time machine, go back to the '60s and knock Ali out in 5 rounds, and he still wouldn't get the credit he deserves.

Because his skin color isn't dark enough for the ones that dislike him. Simple as that.

its not just that he was 38, but that wlad when prime isn't exactly a hotshot, he was getting easily bowled over by the journeymen of the lewis era, having to aim for longevity versus fatties ansd non-boxers to stay in power.

hes not beating any of these until he does so.

Fury, bizarrely, simply hasn't stepped up yet, he got lucky with an old, realtively weak champion.

Fury just has to defend his lineal title for a couple of years. Then the detractors will get fewer and fewer. 10-15 successful title defenses will make it very hard for anyone to question his legitimacy at HOF/ATG'dom. But we're far from that, so let's take it a fight a time for now.
