He's already legit. I just want to see him step up his competition and fighting the likes of geale and soliman isn't doing that.

He has to beat all current World MW Champions to unify the World Championship belts at 160. Thats the way I will recognize him.

shocked anyone suggests andre dirrell as a credible opponent, and until ward actually fights on the regular, he can't be considered either.

ggg wants floyd at 154, although he needs another fight at the weight 1st to show he can compete there, every belt at 160 then a move up. nothing wrong with any of that.

Ward should fight guys his own size at his natural weight like Kovalev..

Cotto couldn't even handle Trout for God sakes!!

He's legit, but there's no 50/50 opponents for him at MW.
So I'd like him to move up to SMW soon.

I think he should stay at 160 for now.

If he was to move anywhere the sensible one would be 154...
Cotto, Alvarez and Flyod makes him much more money than Chevez, Froch and Ward

He's already legit at middleweight and seen by most as the best at 160lbs. Beating Cotto and Quillan, Soliman to become undisputed champion at middle would take him to next level and he could then be talked as a great middleweight champion with 13 defences.

But to be regarded as a top P4P fighter then he'll need to prove he can have success at super middle against the likes of Froch and Ward. There simply isn't the depth and quality of opposition at middle for him to achieve this without moving up.

Step by step first, so Soliman is next with the red belt!

When I read Ward/Froch/AA/Bika/Direll/Kessler.... hes 160 and has multiple choices there ... Quillin/Soliman/Cotto for a belt, Murray/Sturm(Martinez) that are 6 fights left, so stop that 168 talk... If there is a Pay per view, he said he might would do, but he has to stay at 160 first!! :deal
