You may be correct since there is that blatantly obvious E/E takeover going on atm, and historically, the most hungry fighters, whom were able to elevate themselves by digging deep, were typically, African Americans, with Jesse Owens being something of a global pioneer traveling to Nazi Germany and proving American hunger was unstoppable.
Joe Louis domination of Schmelling in their rematch. Huge tipping point for American boxing.

I tend to agree that nationalism factors greatly in the hate for Golovkin.:-(

If people hate him for his skin complexion, is it safe to assume that's the reason many others like him? :think

I think it boils down to success. Every time there's a successful threat, haters follow. It happened with Mayweather, Oscar, Pacquiao, Wlad, Fury, etc. The more successful the fighter, the more vocal the haters become.

Fans and haters alike come for different reasons, can't strictly tie it to one like race or nationality.

Yea so what? i dont have no issue with people siding with the race they are thats only natural but to hate on a fighter for no reason shows you have a chip on your shoulder.

Why are the black posters in this forum crying that GGG gets attention but ward does not like he would not get away with what gg gets away with this too much and pathetic

GGG's haters are angry black men who are jealous he gets more attention then the likes of ward.

So you're OK with racism as long as it works in your favor? In my opinion, liking someone because of their skin color is no different than disliking someone because of their skin color. It's the same thing.

Would you say that Floyd haters are a bunch of angry white men? Or a bunch of angry Filipino men? Or a bunch of angry Mexicans?

If you dislike Floyd, is it a racial thing? :think

You're probably the least biased poster irt GGG, and I respect your opinions.
I agree that with great success, the haterz begin to swarm.:patsch

    Good posts Alex.....

I don't know how to double quote, but your last 2 posts are impressive, debating Good Boy.

    Racial bias, IMHO, is disgraceful.

While I don't personally believe there is a fighter, TODAY, from 147-168 that can beat GGG, I firmly believe that in time, fighters such as Erickson Lubin, one or both Charlo brothers, Demetrius Andrade, and Errol Spence may very well post a substantial RISK to GGG as he ages into his late 30s, that is, IF, he hasn't fulfilled his potential at IMO, 175.:think

    Nobody.

The reasons he's hated for have nothing to do with boxing

It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with proving yourself dummy. How many Loma or Kovalev bashing threads do you see?:deal I rest my case.
