Ya know, I wanted to know that, both De La Hoya and Marquez have said Mayweather, but Pacquiao has improved sooo much from his fight with Marquez and has gotten a lot stronger since his fight w/ De La hoya and De La Hoya was might have just been saying that to downplay that fight and have Floyd fight Mosley. Hatton didn't get enough time to really get to know Pacquiao.

I suspect Hatton will say Floyd simply because thats what he's hoping for as 1, he's more likely to get a rematch with Floyd than Pac and 2, it's easier to excuse his loss to Pac than to Floyd. It's in Hattons interest for Floyd to beat Manny

All that stuff about not feeling right for the Pac fight, overtraining etc.. and Lee Beard describing the KO as 'little more than a wild swing', all the pre fight 'i'm just bigger and stronger than him'.
I think Hatton seems to accept the Floyd loss with less excuses than the Manny loss. Sure he didn't like the ref but there was no talk about underperforming/overtraining like he came out it with after Manny.

He went 10 rounds with Floyd but only 2 with Pac. If Floyd beats Pac (especially if he could win by stoppage in less than 10) it's easier for Hatton to write off his loss to Pac as a fluke due to a fast start, fight being over before it really got going etc.... but if Pac beats Floyd the excuse doesn't work the other way around.
