Because Porter and Spence can both apply good pressure. And thats exactly i didn't vote Spence and Porter. Both of them are stylistically bad match ups for Ennis
Yep a lot of fans go by the eye test alone. Ennis is certainly an elite talent and will no doubt be a future elite world champion but you can't buy experience which guys like Crawford and Spence have. I would favor Ennis over everyone else on that list but Porter and Ugas are no guarantees as they are also experienced at the top level.
Dulorme landed a huge shot on Ennis which Ennis did well to soak up and land a big shot of his own. If Ortiz landed that shot he'd have probably hit the canvas. I think he's got heart but certain styles like a high pressure style might be his undoing. Vergil Ortiz i think is the better prospect of the two. I think he's more refined and does the basics better. I think the jury is still out on Ennis. I think he has the skills to make it far but he may not reach ''elite'' status as it's not common. He might just sit below elite which there's no shame of. I think Mean Machine is more durable and a better quality fighter than Dulorme. Dulorme is a fringe european/intercontinental level boxer. David Avenasyan would have stopped Dulorme in good fashion also.
Another solid american talent, that you guys trying to overhype. He still needs big improvement to beat top guys, especially defence
Boots needs to start stepping up the comp for his next fight. I would love to see how Ennis does against the likes of Ugas, Porter, Garcia, Thurman, I'm almost certain he beats them convincingly. If he does that then he'll for sure be a threat for Spence and Crawford
He will beat everyone but i dont believe he can get past Spence. Spence footwork is lightyears above everyone else. Spence can control anyone in this division with his jab alone.
Avanesyan, Egid K., Ugas, Danny. I think him and Vergil are 50/50 at this very moment. There's a couple more things I need to see before I put Ennis ahead of him. He's not ready for Spence or Crawford yet. I don't realistically see Keith fighting again.
True but when Crawford stopped him he had only one loss. Dulorme has now only one win in his last six (1 win, 1 draw, 4 losses) which shows he's not the same and proves only that Ennis can stop a shot fighter. Jury is still out for me on Ennis until he faces better competition. Loads of people have looked amazing in the past fighting subpar opposition. When he steps up he will most likely rise above but you never know and nearing thirty fights its past time to find out.
