Read now and then how tough Quarry was (like Holyfield) and that he coulda whooped Tyson. Since Tyson is a short pressure fighter like Rocky Marciano, thought Quarry could handle him too.
Against which of them does Quarry cause more pain?

Quarry was one of the strongest heavyweights ever. Stronger then Holyfield. That wasn't his problem he was very prone to cuts.

Dare I suggest that both would have made his skull into a cereal bowl?

Tyson was better than Quarry in everyway as was Holyfield, he may have been as tough as Holy though which would have helped him v the smaller Marciano.

    lol

Quarry was a good heavyweight and would have made a terrific cruiserweight.

The only way he beats Tyson is if he could add 3 inches of height and 25 lbs of muscle to his frame while simultaneously acquiring a David Tua left hook.

Marciano, cuz they were similar and prone to cuts. I think Tyson would probably cut Quarry fast and end it. It's not that I think Tyson was better, it's just that cuts were a grim reality for Quarry. Really, though, I don't see Quarry beating either. But Quarry was a surprise to me. He was a pressure fighter, but I have a hard time classifying the syle he functioned best against. He defeated Floyd (pressure fighter), Thad Spencer (boxer), Mathis (boxer puncher), Lyle (puncher), Shavers (puncher)-kind of difficult to classify. Who knows, maybe Quarry surprises us like he did Shavers, I still don't see it happening.

Quarry was easily more rounded than Tyson as a fighter, but sometimes power has more of a factor. Joe Frazier was easily more rounded than Foreman, but was gone in two rounds.

Quarry wuld take bigger beating by Marciano because Rocky punched harder than Tyson and could punch constant for 15 rounds! He would beat Quarry late ala Frazier!
Quarry vs Tyson is 50/50!Quarry survived much stronger Shavers and Lyle!
And Quarry could beat every peek a bo user just like Holyfield because his counterpunching!

course Foreman would beat him. That scrap would be brief, but fantastic.
