Yeah right Moorer said same thing really because he was embarassaed because he was beaten by old man!
It was not fluke it was Foreman power late with simple combination!Moorer only won 5 rounds and he was gassed after that and Foreman punched his brain off!
Foreman was 45 years old when he lost still he gave them tough times and was never knocked out while Tyson was!
Like he lost against Schulz,Qawi,Cooney,Cooper? And like Morrison runaway whole fight from him?

Sorry but only stupid here is your!I proved that several times because you were really!
You just dfend your hero because someone could beat him and put ton of excuses because his hype!
Many boxers had much harder life than him like Braddock,Ali,Maricano,Johnson...but they never put single excuse and fought instead!

In Tyson fanboy world Mike was the only person on Earth with problems and distractions.
If you reversed their situation Tyson fans would be saying Mike only lost because his mother died boohoo!

Tyson got his arse beat by Douglas. Case closed.

Agree with Tyson-Quarry though I don't know if Tyson did "everything better" but he was a much better fighter overall. Marciano, unlike Tyson, Frazier, and Dempsey is very sloppy, slow, and uncoordinated. People with those attributes simply don't have a good track record with Quarry (granted none were as relentless as Marciano). The one thing that gives me pause is, Marciano fought at a pace much higher than Jerry was comfortable with as seen by Frazier. I could see Marciano breaking Quarry down, and tiring him out later but that's not the way I'm leaning.

You're probably looking at another boxrec. This one lists Douglas at 231 vs Tyson:
https://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Mike_Tyson_vs._James_(Buster)_Douglas
And at 246 vs Holyfield:
https://boxrec.com/media/index.php/James_(Buster)_Douglas_vs._Evander_Holyfield
That's a difference of 15 pounds, which matters. Sure, Holyfield might have beaten him anyway, but it wasn't a given.

He simply gassed out against Tucker, but was dominating the earlier rounds.
The fact that Douglas was 30 pounds heavier worked against him, cause he was overweight, it was a case of extra fat, not extra muscle mass.
And the fact that Evander beat him easier than Tyson is irrelevant. One fight has no bearing on another.
Tyson beat Stewart in 1 round, and Evander needed 12. By your stupid logic, Tyson was vastly superior.
The fact that boxer A has an easier time against an opponent, while boxer B struggles with that same opponent, does not mean boxer A will automatically beat boxer B, you CLUELESS dummy.

First of all, Frazier's style does not require more stamina than that of Tyson.
Second of all, Frazier had a completely different body build and was skinnier than Tyson. The less muscle mass you have, the more endurance you have.
Third of all, Frazier went 15 rounds with Ali when he was 28 years old. He couldn't do **** after he turned 30, which is what happens to all Tyson/Frazier type boxers. Their styles are not suited for longevity. Once your speed, reflexes and stamina diminish, you fade fast. Big tall guys will always be big and tall even as they age.
Fourth, and very important, the peek a boo style requires one to be in great shape by training properly. Tyson didn't even bother to train or barely did in his latter years.

No it isn't for all ages, only a clueless dummy as yourself thinks that. You're one of the stupidest posters on this forum.
Patterson was a lot smaller/skinnier than Tyson. Patterson trained far better than Tyson in his latter years. And Bonavena was a slow bum.

I stand corrected, you're not one of the stupidest posters on this forum, you take top spot by a country mile.
Ali never went 15 rounds against Holmes, the bout was stopped after the 10th round when Ali's corner threw the towel in.
Holmes had mercy for him, that's why he didn't KO him. He even cried after the fight.
Holmes got KO'd by Tyson.
YOU'RE ****IN' CLUELESS !!!

Go get your eyes checked or learn how the pointing system works. Moorer was leading on all of the judges cards by a long margin.
All he had to do was to not be stupid and stand there and trade with Foreman. Had he done that, he'd still have retained his belt.
Foreman was slow as **** throughout his career. Anyone who had a good jab and could move well would give him trouble.
Had they met in the second half of the 70's, Holmes would have beat the **** out of him.

Your hero Ali used to have the same tactic.

YOU'RE CLUELESS ABOUT BOXING and the dumbest poster on this forum.
Those men faced different adversities than Tyson..
And Ali never had a harder life. He had a good childhood, with loving parents and siblings.
On the other hand,Tyson's mom was hooker and he never met his biological dad, while his step-dad abandoned Tyson's mother around the time Mike was born.
Tyson reached fame at a far tender age than any of the men you listed. He was too immature and young to be able to handle all of that. Cus, Jacobs and Rooney were the one who kept him on track, focused on boxing. When they were gone one by one, his minded wondered elsewhere. Tyson never had a family like Ali to keep him grounded and to be able to ask advice from them.

James Douglas 246 lbs lost to Evander Holyfield 208 lbs by KO at 1:10 in round 3 of 12
At the official weigh-in, Douglas weighed 246 lbs, 14½ more than his weight for the Tyson fight. "Roll him in and carry him out," said Lou Duva, co-trainer of Holyfield, who came in at a svelte 208. Mirage oddsmaker Jimmy Vaccaro said there was a mad rush to the sports book after the weigh-in.

So Douglas was just 14 pounds heavier!
And how then size matters in Tyson favour?Holyfield was just 208lb and beat man almost40 pounds heavier than him and Tyson could not?

He simpy did not gassed but was outboxed and beaten to the punch! He was never dominating and was behind of scorecards!

“The media has been writing that Buster ‘just ran out of gas suddenly’ against me and blew it,” Tucker said.

“That’s not how it happened. I hurt Buster early in the ninth round with a long right hand, and after that he started backing up. I caught him on the ropes with four good shots in the 10th and finished him. He was in great shape that night, I just wore him down and beat him.”
But please, Tucker said, no more “Buster-ran-out-of-gas-against-Tucker” stories.

“I hurt Buster and then finished him, he didn’t run out of gas,” he reiterated
Douglas was 220 lb for Tucker fight which means that he was overweight for Tyson fight?
One fight is no bearung on another but few are!
My logic is not stupid and Tyson beaten older Stewart who did not cheat!
What about:
-Holyfield beat Douglas in 3 rounds
-Holyfield beat Foreman,Cooper,Bowe...whom Tyson ducked himself
-Holyfield beat easier Botha when he was ancient
-Holyfield beat easier James Smith in just 5 rounds
-Holyfield better against Lewis and won first fight while second was controversional decision
Yeah right one fight maybe but few of them nope!
Only clueless dummy here is you and I put you down like before because my facts!

First of all you are stupid and yes Frazier need more stamina than Tyson because few things!
His bobbing and waveing along with left hook is more constant and he stalked his opponents quicker!
And he did that for 15 rounds!
Second of all again you are stupid and Frazier had bigger and more robust body with bigger frame! He was not skinnier but his body had same weight but he was taller, wider, longer hands and bigger body overall! He was also taller!
Frazier did 15 rounds not only when Ali was 28 years old but Frazier did that in 1975 when he was 30 and more years old but guess what he did not gassed after 15 rounds unlike Tyson who at 23 gassed against Douglas!

Douglas was overwight for Tucker fight?I knew that you are stupid but not that much!
Tony Tucker 222 lbs beat James Douglas 228 lbs by TKO at 1:36 in round 10 of 15
So in your stupid mind Douglas was overwight for Tucker even knowing he was 240 for Tyson fight?
Yes ancient Holyfield beat Lewis in their first meeting and lost second time by SD!
While Tyson lost by KO!If someone is stupid, blind, clueless and every other stupid troll quote you pull then it is you!

ONLY CLUELESS AND OTHER STUPID TROLL INSULTS YOU PULL IS YOU HERE!ALSO YOU ARE DUMBER THAN TRACTOR TIRE!
Ali had harder life simple! He lived in south where racism is big and he worked hard wiht his parents! He had not good childhood because they were so poor hey barely could make to eat!
On the other hands Tyson was lazy, did not work anywhere and was not in the south to survive racism at his best!Unlike Ali who worked hard even knowing racism was big Tyson did not do anything about working nad instead that he was fat thug who steal from people who worked hard just like Ali!
Foreman never meet his father and unlike Tyson him and Liston were so poor they did not eat for days, lived threw racism in the south and they never meet their fathers!
And they worked hard on fields and farms unlike Tyson who was lazy and fat thug! They worked all day sometime they worked in the nights to survive hot summer sun!!
Tyson did not work hard, was lazy and fat and robbed poor guys and even they give him best conditions to train, best coaches and mentors again he failed shows how nothing he was!
And what about Frazier childhood! He was blind on one eye, worked hard on fields and he broke his fight hand and could never use it?
