I genuinely believe that Roach has two fighters - Khan and Pacquiao - that are capable of beating Mayweather.

I also believe that Roach is the key here, he has a game plan and part of this is what disturbs Mayweather.

For instance, Oscar got a split decision loss against Mayweather, he was effective and he wons rounds againt FMJ. One fight later he was complete shot to pieces.

It is by no means certain that Pac or Khan will beat FMJ but I do feel that Roach is the danger man here, more than the fighters themselves. He has the blueprint and that's what the Mayweather camp know.

    Your thoughts?

What's Manny refusing to sign deals, over drug testing rules, got to do with Mayweather fearing Freddy Roach!?

Manny went to the table twice with Mayweather, and refused to accept the deal twice.

Ortiz and Mosely accepted the same deal, without hesitation.

You know, seriously, face facts, and man up a bit.

Manny turning down two deals, over the drug testing rules, is everything to do with him, and little to do with anything else

What's Manny and his people, going to the table, twice, and walking away without a deal, twice, because they don't like the terms, got to do with Mayweather?

If you watched the Mayweather vs. Oscar fight, you'd realize that Mayweather landed more than twice as many shots in that fight.

I think Oscar landed less than 100 shots total in fact.

It was a SD as Oscar is Oscar, and a big name, with a big rep.

Floyd dominated both Oscar and Roach that night. They had few answers

Manny : I will do the random drug tests

Mayweather : You gotta do the tests

Manny: I will do the random drug tests

Mayweather : You gotta do the tests

    See a pattern here?

Well floyd outlanded de la hoya with ease.....

    total punches:
"De La Hoya landed 122 of 587 total punches (21%) to 207 of 481 (43%) for Mayweather.
    power punches:
De la hoya landing 82 of 341 (24%) to 138 of 241 power punches (57%) for Mayweather. "

So what else could be the reason the fight was so close than to popularity level!.....its not certainly punch landed for de la hoya....

    Mayweather wants USDA testing!

    Pacquiao/Arum want WADA!

Mayweather won't budge because the fights in America and he wants American testing!

Pacquaio won't budge becuase he wont move his training camp!

Nobody is scared of anybody, they are both prizefighters ffs, they just both have massive ego's and until one of them gives an inch then there is no fight! Lets move on!

Sergio Martinez will fight either of them so lets have that!

He wasn't effective because his punches weren't landing, punching thin air is not effective. Roach isn't really a master tactician, he get's his fighters in A plus condition and has them work the basics hard, his gameplans are decent but even he said 'maybe Ortiz can help us build a gameplan to beat Floyd' so he isn't really sure how to do it himself

Roach has no game plan and has said that many times. He tried once with DelaHoya and came second best.
It's possible Roach could have advised his fighter not to fight Mayweather and wait for Mayweather to slow down and show vulnerabilities. All these guys know once pacquiao gets beat by Floyd they wont be able to maximise revenues

WADA is needed because Pacquiao spends half of his training in the Philippines. USADA can't monitor Pacquiao there. Only WADA can. Arum bringing WADA into the equation helps Floyd get the testing he wants.

If WADA do the testing while Pacquiao is in the Phillipines, then the results of those tests go to the Phillipine commission. I think what Mayweather is saying, (rightly or wrongly) is that the tests should be done by USDA because the fight will be in America, financed by American dollars and the testing should be done by an agency that reports their findings to the NSAC.

Also, a point worth mentioning is this, Pacquaio only started training in the Phillipines for the De La Hoya fight and since. Before then he trained exclusively at the Wild Card.

Mayweather will not accept the drug testing to be anything other than random and to be done by USDA!

so floyd's new demand would be, pac should not train in the philippines or outside of america.
