Who does PBF come back to fight in 2009?

first off "PAUSE".....i never said Floyd cleaned out the division....i said...name a fighter who has?...and u failed to do that.....fighters dont make fights...NETWORKS & Promoters MAKE FIGHTS.....

RISK?...man everytime a boxer steps in a ring its a "risk" no matter who it is.....Margo isnt a RISK..he is yet another ARUM HYPE job that has 5 losses on his record!!!! ..and he is a risk to the P4P best fighter in the world?atsch

 

Why is it people like you are unable to debate without calling someone an hater with an opinion that differs to yours? Yes Hatton would generate more money maybe but its not a credible fight. If its just about money then thats fair enough but the ATG's aren't judged on the size of their bank balance when they retire.

Most people, besides the PBF apologists, want to see a Cotto/Mayweather bout because he is seen as a legitimate threat & is an undefeated up & comer. Whether you think he stands a chance or not is irrelavent. Its a significant fight for boxing that Floyd has not entertained. Its an omission from his resume whether you like it or not.

 

ATG is just an Opinion that u have...the REAL boxing writers know Mayweather is the truth....

I dont even see how he is seen as a threat....thank bob arum for that,....he coulda made the fight after Mayweather ruined Gatti....but he didnt want to ruin Cotto before he got his stock to rise....so he held off....now all of a sudden Mayweather is AFRAID of Cotto?:-(

Yes I believe Margo would lose to Cotto or Floyd. ut I do believe Arum has the best fighters in the world. Also Margo loses came elr n his career. Plus I felt he beat Williams and did he move up to fight Santos. If someone offered me 8 mill and I'm the greatest. I would have fought Baldo and since he didn't do no damage, I would have fought Margo two months later for some more money, since that was suppose to be easy for him. Then Hoya, Hatton ,and Cotto. But why would I hate on Floyd, there is no reason to. He just isn't the greatest and remember there are more weight class than back it the golden age of boxing

Even Floyd fans want to see it, including him and me both. But to me t seems like the truth is coming out about Floyd anyway, he is scared he may lose. All the greatest fighters have lost. But Floyd is not on that list

 

Your debating skills are poor. Obviously he is an ATG but certainly not as high up as he would like to think he is. The fickle, hyperbole loving writers of today will change their minds as the moment suits them. The boxing historians, the ones that pick apart careers will find enough holes in Floyd's career to keep him well away from the higher echelons of boxings all time elite.

Who said Floyd was getting 30 mill. The only reason why he made the money he did was of PPV SALES. He got 10 up front. Do you think it would have sold 2.4 or that close again? Hell nah, it wouldn't the world knew that the first fight was boring. If anyone deserves money for the second fight it would be Roger and Floyd Sr. for being the ones people wanted to see.

he fought Baldo because it meant more.....why the **** would he fight a guy with 4 losses and no Titles?...lol...the only reason he fought Baldo was because he beat JUDAH.....he took the titles...and just to be sure people didnt say it was a fluke....he beat up Judah.....fighting Judah and Baldo means more than fighting Margo for sure...and that 8 million offer was just another ARUM Hype job to bash floyd....Mosley said he would take the 8million and Arum turned it down....Mosley was a bigger PPV draw than Mayweather at that time so why not Fight Mosley?

I am not a fan boy..i am a fan of boxing, but the fact is that people hate on mayweather for NOT doing things that other fighters havent even done

 

I said if I was floyd I woulds have took all those fights to make more money since he is the alltime greatest. Of course Arum said that, it's called promoting a fighter. If Cotto beats Margarito, he comes back to fight Cotto.

If Margarito wins, he doesn't come back at all, not a glamorous enough proposition for PBF.

And there is no-one else out there who could bring him back.

To be honest though, I think boxing is better off without him. Leave fighting to the fighters, leave prancing around at WrestleMania to the shitbags.
