Na give him the winner. Davis is really talented, young but no reason to just waste him right now. Silva or Vera winner is a real tough challenge but its not exactly throwing him to the wolves.

I agree he probably takes down Thiago Silva but what does he do on the ground vs a guy with BJJ as good as Silva's ? It would be interesting to see. Rashad got lots of takedowns on Silva however Silva got back to his feet quite a bit and basically KTFO Rashad but just quit fighting.

I dont know if Davis vs Vera would go like the Jon Jones fight Jones and Davis are similar in that they have long, lanky frames, real powerful with good technique and wanna take fights to the ground and finish it there but David has never shown the GNP ability that Jon Jones has.

I wanna see Davis in with a guy who might be able to stuff his takedowns and test his striking or maybe even take down Phil himself. I think a great fight would be with Jason Brilz the guy who gave Lil Nogueira hell in May.

Let's see Davis vs Bones Jones.

That wonderbar submission was some ol bull****. That's what happens when a guy is just strong. That wasn't a real technique.

Ryan Bader is a bad man! He's definitely not one to overlook.

i think vera or silva is a good call. they are really on the outskirts of the top contenders. 205 is stacked. plus, the ufc is supposed to have the best in the sport. even when they are nurting homegrown talent they still need to match em tough to prove they belong. otherwise they should be on the smaller shows.
