who does ward fight now?

Dirrell if he can string a decent win or two together. Apart from him who else is there?

Up to light heavy to clean up there but not all that much there either.

 

He should rematch Froch for the ibf belt and get a unification then rematch Abraham for the wbo belt and fight Thomas Oosthuizen for the ibo and unify every belt. I think he could beat all of them then move up light heavy rematch dawson and if he beats him at 175 he's then become a two weight champion and then he can sort out cleverly and cloud and whoever else is up there.

I normally wouldn't be this confident in him cleaning out both of the divisions but after what he done to Dawson i can't see anyone beating him from 168 to 175 at this time.

 

There's no doubt to me he wouldn't clear out the divisions but the organisations would have a fit and we'd have Ward as Super Duper Champion and then a million regular champions.

 

Why would anyone want to see ward beat up an old, fat, shot Calzaghe?

 

Its a shame he lacks the US rivals to make him a superstar over there, apart from Dirrell there's no-one else.

I cant see anyone at 168 or 175 beating him, Campillo would be a good fight but I doubt it would generate much interest. Chavez Jr would be the most lucrative option for Ward if he beats Martinez, which is unlikely.

Crazy as it sounds, I'd quite like to see Ward up at cruiserweight one day because I dont see any other challenging fights out there at the mo.

 

Would love to see him fight Dirrell before he moves up. A Dirrell at his best provides some stylistic difficulties.

he should fight Hopkins whilst the fight is still there to be made, there isn't a great deal of challengers for him and I think this would make him the most money and put him over more than anyone else out there currently.

Its a nice name on his record even though Hopkins is past his best and it gives others a bit more time to make their claims to fight him a bit more serious and make it a more credible fight.

 

Don't get me wrong. It's a great post, beautiful infact. Just haven't got a ****in clue what any of it means.

Bute could still be a good fight, I don't think the Froch fight means much when it comes to Ward vs Bute.

Dirrel needs to get some legit wins under his belt first. Definitely Ward and Froch are very different fighters if Bute can get a win or two then put him in with Ward

I know Dirrel needs to be more active before the fight happens, he should be fighting the top guys or atleast top 10 fighters since he came back from his injury anyway. :bbb
