who doubts SOG NOW ??

i had ward to win in the polls on here. and as impressed as i was with him, there were some moments when he seemingly felt extra confident and was throwing some pretty wide lefts and finishing pretty low leaving his chin out there but kessler was so thrown off that he couldnt capitalize on it. that's the one thing he can't do against aa b/c w/ aa, all it takes is making one mistake leaving yourself vulnerable.

but based on everything i've seen so far, i agree w/ you 100% that ward can win this thing.

 

Ward is clearly the dirtiest player in the game. He cheats better than Hopkins. the scary part is that at age 25 he used dirty, cheating tactics better than Hopkins every dreamed of.

boo, i know that the headbutts are a major talking point following the fight...but aside from the actual headbutts, could you believe that the ref was seemingly oblivious to them? the announcers finally picked up on one in the 8th but the announcers didnt say anything all fight and the ref didnt either. was kinda odd since you could see it pretty clear on tv that the heads were connecting.

 

Ward has no power. Think about what KP and AA did to Miranda, and compare that to Ward/Miranda. And all of a sudden Ward is busting Kessler's face into doll rags. The head butts started in the 2nd round, and they were clearly intentional. Ward does not have the power to keep Kessler off of him, so they trained for, and used, strategic head butting to keep Kessler on the back foot and at a disadvantage.

 

By doing what, exactly? I know the headbutts are the big talking point but Kessler said absolutely nothing about them until the 8th round, after he was already being handled. And outside of one very bad one the others were clearly accidental, not particularly serious, and both guys were to blame.

So what other cheating did you witness, exactly?
