Wlad had a choice. Chisora or Haye. He chose Chisora.

Anyone voting Haye is an idiot, plain and simple.

What a surprise. Why doesn't Haye agree to the July 2nd date? If he's made all these agreements, he's stumbling on the date because he doesn't think Wlad will get back in the ring so soon. Why not agree to it and call his bluff then so to speak? What's the worst that can happen?

The same way he was 2 months was enough for - 4 instance - Tyson to prepare against Tucker.

Fighting once or twice a year is a modern habit, it was not like this in good old times.

how did that happen?? Klitscko has arranged another fight. Haye is not going to sit on his ass for 7 months and wait for Klitscko. He plans to retire in October, the time is ticket on his career. If he fights in July its unlikely he would fight again.

Haye has to fight his mandatory as well.

Why not? Give him 3 weeks after the Chisora fight to recover, relax and sort their next camp out and they've got 6 weeks, that should be plenty.

Yet you expect Wlad - having pulled out of a bout due to apparent injury which'll probably double the ring-rust - to wait 9 months? What's wrong with taking another fight in the mean-time? Haye should shut his ****ing mouth for once and get in the ring-time aswell. Get that final fight with Sauerland out the way & his mandatory at the same time with Chagaev. What's wrong with doing it at the end of March?

its not called off but the 2nd of July is.

Wlads not going to box twice in 8 weeks with 2 continous training camps- not happening. no way.none.

Even guys fighting 8 rounds dont fight as much these days.

Youre looking at September the earliest here but most likely longer going by both guys having at least 6 months between fights for years now thats the reality.

What makes it even worst is that Haye WILL box on uk ppv before then . this fight should happen asap

I love Haye's point about Wlad only fighting once in 2009.

Why the **** is that, David?

    :rofl

He did agree to July 2nd but didn't want to do nothing for 7 months while Wlad had a tune up which he could also lose. that would leave Haye up **** creek.

Haye also offerd Wlad dates in England in May and June but that was rejected. Wlad refused to come to england.

are you a ****ing moron. no fighter has a 6 week camp for the biggest fight of there career.

negotiations between representatives of Haye and Klitschko had been ongoing for three weeks

    - Haye had agreed to fight in Germany and agreed to an even revenue split

    - neutral officials had been agreed

    - a date of April 30 was fine for RTL but Sky Sports was not willing to do two pay-per-views in the same month; they already have WBA light-welter boss Amir Khan v TBA lined up for April 16th

    - Sky Sports was unwilling to move it to accommodate Haye v Klitschko and confirmed this to Boente this morning

    - there were no dates in May or June that worked for both networks

    - the first available date that works for both networks and a potential venue is July 2

    - both camps were prepared to fight on July 2nd

July 2 is a bit unrealistic but the end of July or more likely August is possible. Haye retires in October. This fight has to be made by hook or by crook.
