Haye will only fight Wlad if Wlad is coming right off this stomach tear recoup. No tuneups with Chisora first, cause Wlad will be too sharp, then.

Haye is a real piece of work, let me tell ya. :blood

Yeah, he seems to have forgotten it took him 12 months to get back in the ring after the Monte Barrett fight after he ****ed around pulling out of two Klitschko fights.

Jack: Here's how I see it.

Haye could have lined up TWO fights by just agreeing (Chagaev and Wlad).
But by declining, Haye now has just one fight (Chagaev).

If Haye had agreed, and Wlad did get injured against Chisora, Haye would be right where he is today. So Haye would risk nothing by agreeing.

Take it in March if he insists on a tune-up.

He didn't seem to insist on it up to this very day. :-(

Klitschko side said they had no problem with Haye taking an interim fight.

Haye offered two dates. Wlad said no, despite all the concessions Haye had already made so the fight could happen. Your hero has ****ed this up for everyone.

He did that before. He had a 9 month layoff when he had a bicep tear.
There's the lack pf promotion, which would be impossible. No media tours, no appearances in England, nothing.

Apart from that, what if Wlad got any sort of injury? As I've said before, if he bruises his hand, something insignificant, it means he loses crucial weeks of his training. Obviously if he had a more serious injury, the fight would be off but even if something insignificant happens, the fight will be postponed.

    Why risk it?

That is a self imposed retirement date bro, there's no one holding Haye to it is there?

What concessions has Haye made? Haye doesn't even deserve 50-50, the mere fact that the Klitschko-bros accept this proportion is the biggest concession in professional boxing of the 21st century.

Hell, Adamek would deserve more based on his HW accomplishments.

BTW, Wlad offered 2 dates and 2nd July still stands. STILL.

You should probably read before posting. Everybody agreed on July 2nd date, now Hayes is having second thoughts.

8 weeks then, whatever. He's not going to need that much time to recover from a Chisora bout. He's not going to take any punishment and he'll be fighting in second gear the entire time. He may even try to end it early.

He'll be in shape of course, so 6-8 weeks should surely be enough time to retain his sharpness and make some preparations in terms of sparring. He won't even have to go into his camp and add weight like he normally does.

No more of a moron then you not being able to use correct grammar. It's 'their', not 'there'. People in glass houses and all, Rob. ;)

Exactly, so what's the problem? Wlad is the one coming out and saying the fight is on for July 2nd, there's no reason to believe that he'd not be ready for Haye after Chisora. Haye is the one coming out and saying he's done and the fight's off. So who's ducking now?

So he didn't have a straight choice?
