Rob, it may not have occured to you that the world does NOT in any way, shape or form revolve around David Haye.

Given the limited number of PPV slots realistically available to them they've got to consider their options - Khan wants a fight in April and is close to naming an opponent, and they want to get Froch on as soon as possible.

PPV money isn't an endless pot of gold, and in Khan they've got potentially a much more sound long term investment than Haye, who has been telling all and sundry that he wants to cash out and retire this year.

Likewise, Froch is in the Super 6 tournament and potentially has some great fights up at 175.

Maybe Haye ought to have looked at fulfilling his mandatory around November instead of the cash grab against Harrison, then he'd be free pretty much to begin negotiations immediately and sort something out that's agreeable to all parties.

It seems Sky have turned round and said they won't be bullied, and rightly so.

Wlad wants to remain active, and as such has honoured his previous commitments to Derek Chisora and Frank Warren - for a fight that will probably be on regular Sky.

If this fight means to much to Haye why not take it on regular Sky as the PPV has already been assigned to Khan?

Or take a tune up himself?

He just does not want to fight Wladimir Klitschko.

    End of story.

Trust me, if Haye ever decides to fight it will be the biggest fight since Lewis-Tyson. Doesn't matter if they only have 2-weeks of heavy promotion instead of 4, or whatever. This fight has been hyped for years.

What promotion? Sky just gave Haye a finger saying Khan fight and Royal Wedding are more important.

Wlad is the Champion here, Haye is the challenger. Wlad calls the shots & he offered 50/50 no options before you heard a peep out of Haye about any 50/50 deal.

Wlad wants top billing, and the red corner, presumably because he wears red into the ring.

What's the problem again? Should David get top billing when he only has one belt to Wlad's many?

Those don't sound like ridiculous demands to me.

Let's say he has his usual 10 weeks for the Chisora bout, which he will, and then has 8 weeks to prepare for Haye, that's 18 weeks of non-stop training. Way too much. He'd be overtrained severely.

That's why I don't think the fight would happen, even apart from anything else. Boxers can't train for that length of time without break, and not face serious problems. In fact, there's a clip of Manny Steward on YouTube talking about fighters overtraining and he mentions how if you train for two weeks longer than you should, how badly it can effect ring performance. Even if it didn't hurt Wlad, you think Steward would allow him to even try?

Why no media tours or appearances? There's ample time to get it ready, even if he only has a couple of months. He can make appearances of Sky Sports, Sky News, Soccer AM, I'm sure arrange a half-time walk on at Old Trafford again or something.

Didn't Haye risk a potential Klitschko bout by pulling out of one fight, turning down a fight with Vitali next and then fighting Valuev instead? There's always risks involved, there's potential bouts like JuanMa vs Gamboa being risked by Top Rank everytime either steps in the ring because they're obviously trying to keep them apart until the timings right. It's a calculated risk, there's no reason to suggest Wlad couldn't deal with Chisora in 2nd gear and then still have a 7/8 week camp.

    No, he didn't.

The choice was to not fight for an extended period of time & that's not what Wlad wants after being off for such a long time already.

And who is Haye to demand that he wait that long anyway? Especially when he himself pulled out of their original date.

    That's a blatant lie.

Anyone who thinks Sky favours Khan over Haye is having a laugh. Boente is a liar.

    Booth's statement is COMICAL.

"Wlad wanted 50-50" ARE YOU SERIOUS! WHAT A CRAZY DEMAND!

"Wlad wanted his own doctor" OUTRAGEOUS!

"Wlad wanted the red corner" I'VE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING!

"Wlad wanted his name first on posters" THE NERVE, STUNNING!

    :lol::lol:

Does it occur that his camp can be altered in terms of the level of intensity? He'd already be in excellent condition going into the Haye camp which is why they won't have to train with such intensity. Not to mention he wouldn't be having issues in terms of gaining weight as he'd already be entering into camp around his proposed fight weight.

Wlad has the IBF, WBO, IBO & The Ring Magazine Belt, he's the Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Vitali & Haye are beltholders and Haye's WBA should already be Wlad's since he KO'd CHagaev who was the real WBA Champ when Wlad beat him.
