What is the likelihood that Haye's back will really heal, and that he won't reinjure it again before July 11th? Vlad, RTL, HBO, and Setanta can't turn their business into a crap shoot.

If Haye maintains his marketability, this fight will be made in 2010. Meanwhile, the business of big time boxing must go on without Haye.

Klit wanted to fight, Haye could not fight. Klit fights the next best available fighter. Haye goes to the hospital. End of story. Haye blew his undeserved chance, now he has to recover, get back in line, and wait for a while till he can have his face rearranged by one of the Klits. Hopefully Haye will sack-up and fight a real top contender, this way we don't have to wait long to see him get smashed and sent back down to the lightweights.

Everyone who voted Wlad in the poll is either mentally ******ed or a clear Klit-hater.
Quite a few of them belong to both groups.

Wlad signed for the fight, is ready for the fight.

Haye talked a lot, but it's HAye who is pulling out, and for FIVE weeks, not THREE.

Yes, folks, HAYE IS PULLING OUT, BUT IT"S WLAD WHO IS DUCKING !!!

That tops all of a certain KLIT hater's quote-of-the-week list for pure comedy.

Tens of thousands of fans have booke flights and accomodations for this bout. European TV stations stand to lose millions if the fight is delayed.

Meanwhile, Chagaev, a real heavyweight who is superior to Haye and ranked higher and is undefeated, is available, and bring's the RING title to the game.

There's no thinking to do here.

Imagine the tittering we would have seen if it was Wlad who had injured his hand (or was it his back) and cancelled out !

IMHO, Haye is PROBABLY injured (as well as seriously nervous) and his injury, whater the **** it is, is probably not faked.

    Nobody is ducking here.

But if you were told that one of them was ducking, it's pretty ****ing clear ( to all but the seriously ******ed skull-****s) which one it is.

    PS.

IF Maskaev manages to force Vitali to defend against him, Vitali might consider putting Haye on there as the undercard.

He would have little trouble with this and its been a while since someone KOd two fighters on the same night.

Total rounds for both stoppages: 4-6.

Neither really but obviously if i had to choose its Wlad who is ducking as he is the reason the fight isnt happening, 3 weeks/5 weeks extra, if he wanted to beat Haye so bad he would have waited, end of story.

Haye is being Hyped because of victory over Barrett I guess, he hasn't proven anything yet and I think he should beat a top 10 guy before he get's a shot anyhow.

Bingo. Chagaev will likely give Wlad a tougher fight than Haye.

A and B agree to a fight. B pulls out of the fight. Conclusion: A is ducking B, it's so obvious. :happy

Look, I don't buy this argument. **** happens all the time. Big rock gigs can get postponed due to singers losing their voice, boxing matches can get postponed due to injury. They just get re-scheduled.

People with tickets would still have valid tickets for the new date. They would have to transfer any flight tickets. It's a pain, but this **** happens all the time.

Any TV stations advertising would not lose out, again, their contracts would still be in place for the postponed date, and in fact, they would have a higher return on their investment due to an inflated audience resulting from a few extra weeks of anicipation and hype. Plus, a Haye/Klit fight has a bigger draw and will have a bigger audience than any Chag/Klit fight.

It would have been entirely reasonable, in my opinion, for Wlad to re-schedule the fight a few weeks later in order for Haye to get over his injury.

Instead we are going to get Chagaev/Wlad. Who the **** gives a **** about that?

I can understand Wlad's team's decision - it was the easy thing to do, they don't have to re-schedule anything, and Chag is not too shabby an opponent - but it's a disapointing decision, and if i'm honest, i think it is a bit of a ***** one too.

Haye has called you out, he's worn the t-shirt, talked a lot of ****, there's been a bit of banter back and forth from both sides. This fight should be on.

Make no mistake, it's Wlad and his team who have pulled the plug on this fight here, not Haye.

It's the first HW fight anyone's given a **** about in years. And it ain't going to happen. Shame.:verysad
