    :rofl Bruce Buffer is very lame but he does a decent job on UFC.

    Buffer gets around $5k per fight (plus travel, hotel, and meals), which is usually split between the promoter and HBO.

    As for Cortez, he is paid no more than any other referee working a title fight. The fee is typically regulated and set by the sanctioning body involved with the fight, and referee fees can be found on their websites in their regulations. I'll tell you the IBF rules, because I know them pretty well. It's graduated by purse amount, and varies from $1,600 to $3,600, and goes up to $5,000 if purses go over $10 million.
