Ward doesn't have power, but he is precise and fast. You don't need to hit someone hard to put them on the backfoot. It's enough to throw good flush combinations repeatedly without getting hit in return.

Man, Ward can be dirty as hell too, and on top of that he is smarter and more versatile at being dirty than Froch! Froch is big. He looked bigger than Kessler easily! But Ward was smaller than Miranda and Kessler and he was all over them. he is a very good inside fighter. He would do better by getting in Froch's face than by letting Froch extend his long jab on the outside.
