    Apart from the Klitschkos

Cause there Avoiding him, anyone can see Haye is eager to make the fight.

But who else will you give Haye credit for fighting/beating?

And honestly how many fighters ACTUALLY beat two top 10 guys before getting a title shot?

Honestly Haye would have to beat one of the following: Sam Peter, Chris Arreola, Virchis, Eddie Chambers, James Toney or someone of THAT caliber to get respect. Someone who can test his chin and/or stamina in a 12 round fight.

I doubt the Klits are ducking him.

To answer your question: Everyone in the Ring's Top Ten and Arreola.

A good heavyweight? Or, a good heavyweight in TODAY's scene?

I guess Haye should try to get Valuev and/or the WBA belt. I guess a fight with Povetkin would garner some respect.
The only path I see would be for him (or any one else for that matter) is to just keep on fighting and beating them all. There are no great fighters out there (not named Klitschko) to test oneelf, so a fighter in today's heavyweight scene needs to go for quantity over quality to get respect.

    Right good point.

A good HW is hard to find unless his name is Klitschko.

I know that some of them have fights scheduled and others would be too difficult to secure a fight with, but any of the recent former beltholders, some recent title challengers, and some up and comers would be good picks:

    Nikolai Valuev
    Ruslan Chagaev
    Samuel Peter
    Oleg Maskaev
    John Ruiz
    Tony Thompson
    Shannon Briggs
    Lamon Brewster
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Vladimir Virchis
    Sultan Ibragimov
    Calvin Brock
    Eddie Chambers
    Alexander Povetkin
    Alexander Dimitrenko
    Sergei Lyakhovich

Of course this assumes that these individuals are in shape (Briggs), healthy (Brewster), and a fight can be successfully negotiated with (Valuev, Chagaev, Dimitrenko)

David Haye doesn't have to annihilate these guys to make a good impression, but they would provide a good measuring stick for his ability.

By taking out the highest ranked contender (available) he can take on, and look good doing so.

I don't think the Klitschkos are doing any avoiding, rather they are very calculating. I think they are just fulfilling contractual obligations, and listening to their promoters (or whatever brain trust they have). Haye will get his turn. So you might as well say it now, so you can feel that you're right*.

Here's another thing: you want what you can't have. I want to see this fight because I honestly feel that Haye has a chance (at least more so then some of the previous contenders). The Klitschkos see a hype train, let the anticipation build up, then take the fight. More money, more hype, and more press coverage.

*Ya know, about being avoided and all....

I won't respect Haye one bit unless he beats Lennox Lewis.:bart

I've been thinking that one lately, myself. But I also thought that maybe if Haye took on Gary Mason, and then Frank Bruno as tune ups. Ya know after some intensive sparring sessions with Pele Reid and Horace Notice. THEN I'd take him seriously in the heavyweight division.

Klits are ducking him and I believe any other heavyweight will do the same as he is the most talented and dangerous fighter in the division.

The Klitschkos are hiding from no one :D

The are the champs, they make the rules. Simple as that.

Haye has to show that he is a legit force at HW. Fight:

    Nikolai Valuev
    Ruslan Chagaev
    Samuel Peter
    Oleg Maskaev
    John Ruiz
    Tony Thompson
    Shannon Briggs
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Sultan Ibragimov
    Eddie Chambers
    Alexander Povetkin
    Alexander Dimitrenko

to prove that you are a TOP 10 HW.

This "The Klitschkos are afraight of Haye" bullsh** is ridiculous.... :rofl
