Who else can Haye fight that will gain him your respect as a good HW?

There aren't more than a half dozen HW's out there worth a **** as far as I'm concerned.

 

I would absolutely 'love' to see Haye fight Valuev.Haye would topple him in four rounds, no doubt.

He might have to borrow his corners stool to do so though....

I'd like to see him fight Chagaev too, and John 'The Bear Hugger' Ruiz for comedy value only.

 

He needs a couple of fights. He needs a name on his cv to start with, one of Toney, Rahman, Ruiz, Peter and then look for someone like Povetkin.

 

I would like to see him fight Virchis, Ibragimov, Ruiz or Peter even.

IMO it would be to haye`s advantage if the klitchko fight did not come off straight away.

not financially and haye could blow it before a title fight, but he still neeeds bedding into the heavy division and a couple of fights at heavy v decent opponents might help him when in with either brother.

i do not that i think he can beat either of them at the moment

 

Haye would have to defeat Chagaev, Valuev and Povetkin, to be considered an equal to the Klitschko's.

 

He needs to fight someone in the Ring Magazine Top Ten.

He won't though.

The guy is trying to cut in line and negotiate like he is the Champion.

A loss to the Kltischkos would hardly be devastating to Haye though, career-wise. If Povetkin felt ready, why not Haye? He'd be getting into the mix if he fought the Klitschkos. As things stand, he's not getting the Top guys anyway, because he's bad risk/reward for them and they have the excuse of "who had this guy beaten for us to consider fighting him?". So...unless he works his way up to become a mandatory challenger for these guys, he might never get a shot. Given that he might get KOed himself by one of these boys in the meantime, I think it makes sense for him to gun for the Klitschkos and keep his fingers crossed, no?

first of all, i think david haye deserves more respect than most fighters for being willing to step up and take on anyone.

secondly, saying someone is avoiding someone is usually an ignorant comment relating to a less marketable and known fighter who hasn't yet rolled the dice and earned a shot at a proven fighter - but i think this case is a rarity because haye has generated an awful lot of publicity by genuinely wanting to fight the best heavies and talking tripe to make it happen.

haye still isn't as proven as some people think he is, but he definitely deserves props for laying it all on the line.

 

The match I would love to see is Povetkin.

 

i do beleive haye wants a straight shot at the title v either brother.

and yes i do beleive he risks losing in an elimination fight , but he will be hard to match i think because of money.

i can only see maskaev as being a viable proposition and having a chance of being made if the klitchko fight falls through.

possibly ibragmanov, but he does not bring a style that will gell.

it is quite possible though that he will be frozen out unless mandatory as you say.

gomez has been a heavy for about 7 years now , and is only now just getting a title shot.
