Who else can see Hearn making Coyle v Campbell PPV?

The problem is that Hearn doesn't do strong undercards.

Look at Bellew/Clev card, given the main event I say the undercard is very poor.

In the other SBO shows, his undercards have been weak.

Given form, if Campbell/Coyle is PPV then we have to expect the undercard to be dreadful.

Hearn seems to be going for the casual fans with his matchmaking for 2015. Every interview he seems obsessed with huge stadium fights on ppv.

In terms of 'names' they're decent undercards, but in reality you know the A side is 95% certain to win so it's a foregone conclusion, then again most people who get a PPV (esp casuals) will only get it for the main event so may as well get 2/3 good 50-50/60-40s a prospect or two and maybe a tune up, probably will cost less and will be better entertainment

I agree to some extent, the purses for Coyle and Campbell are nowhere near the level of Froch v Groves so that does allow for some movement with a decent undercard. The undercard at wembley was awful I agree altho the cost of wembley, purses for fighters in the main fight will have limited the financial spend on the undercard despite how many tickets sold etc..

I'm not defending Eddie as I'm sure the profit for wembley was still handsome but what I'm saying is that the overheads for a KC fight in hull is very favourable and therefore if a decent undercard is put on the PPV numbers would see a bigger profit potentially. That said the undercard would need to attract the numbers for PPV and something similar to what I posted earlier would probably do it.

I'm probably going to get slated for this post but it's just my opinion

    Luke Campbell v Tommy Coyle
    Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
    Anthony Joshua v David Price

I believe something like this would eaaily sell 30,000 at the KC and be worthy of PPV. Warrington would bring plenty across from Leeds and judging by the atmosphere of the hull shows and leeds shows can you imagine the atmosphere

No chance Josh and Price on the bill. Can see Crolla and even Quigg, Smith brothers and maybe Rocky

  7. Greedy Hearn will think Joshua v Price is PPV.

Good for you but what about those of us on here that are grown up and no longer live with their parents?

Get a better job if you cant afford £15 pound for a good night of championship boxing.

Point I was getting at is the fight really worth Campbell wasting another 7 months of his career. He's old for a lightweight and hasn't taken to the pro's all that well. It will be over 18 months into his pro career by the time the fight happens, he should be fighting ranked guys, not the 4th beet lightweight in Britain. Should just do the fight in January and be looking at a big meaningful fight in May.

Have you seen Eddie's PPV undercards?! This is serious wishful thinking right here....it'll be a weak car headlined by a British title level bout.
