I have seen it when I say Louis footwork Is bad im comparing it to 70s-90s it is no good his footwork worked good back then and eras before his cause it was all like the same

it is no way like I said he could handle George he was way to good at cutting the ring and bullying which louis never seen
Louis great punch tech and combos wouldnt be effective unless George fought at that tiptoe pace joe was used to

Louis only did good cause his opponents was fighting at his tiptoe footwork level
put him in 70s or 90s era he loses and bad

 

this is a short ver of a breakdown I gave last night of a mid carder briggs vs lennox the beat which even shows a mid carder still had way more advanced then anybody in Louis era and lennox had way more then him

George even though never as great a mover as lennox still showed similar advances in movement even though it was sloopy

briggs can punch in quick and out

Briggs can duck while punching then duck and punch and

then you see how in Louis era they didnt do that as smoothly or not at all

lennox punches while moving forward smoothly or punching while keeping the guard up moving back or circling around

lennox also could punch from distance keep a guard up with 1 hand then circle around for a counter

its other things to but I think you see
none of these small details or big details was in Louis era

Louis would need to for a fact upgrade to even a mid carder Briggs footwork to handle anybody on George era

doesn't have to be the exact way briggs moved but it has to be similar in speed and advancement in smoothness

he also has to add defense while moving like shown by briggs and others lennox used and the rest

Louis without these changes and more cant beat George or anybody else mid carder in 70s let alone a big name back then he wouldnt even be able to touch them much cause he was to outdated

Foreman would come right at Joe Louis. Louis doesn't have to find him. All Joe Louis has to do is let his hands go. I don't see how it is hard to believe that Louis could hurt Foreman or knock him down. He hit hard enough to KO bigger heavyweights than Foreman.

 

it doesn't matter that George comes at him his advanced movement like i said was nothing Louis ever seen

and I never said Louis couldn't hurt George the problem like I have said mutiples is his ability to land

and the people louis dropped wasnt close to the toughness or movement level that George had so it means nothing do I have to link a George match and a louis match with the top people louis fought

so you can see the top guys Louis fought had nothing close to George movements

I would go for a Louis win if he had advanced movements

it makes logical sense put a great punch tech with fast hands who counters good
thats the reason I pick 90s holy over alot but the thing is he had footwork to go with it

Louis doesn't have that he has some upper body movement but not the rest which I broke down with the lennox and briggs match

so no Louis never dropped any real hw with George movement

the guys he fought didnt know how to use there size they didnt have a build that would be considered as hw they didnt hit hard like a real hw did in 70s
