Who Else Could Have Beaten Foreman In Zaire?

Listen, if it wasn´t Ali there Foreman would not fight like a insane person and gas that much.... he was all crazy and excited to take Ali out of there because it was Ali, it was that big of a deal, all the trash talk, all that..... Foreman lost his mind, he was not thinking right, yeah yeah he was always a bit like that, but he was over the top in excitment that night and that costed him the fight IMO.
If it was someone else, Foreman wins, like he did with all the others before... these things cannot be separated.

Agree with a few of them....the post is totally lacking in Joltin' Jimmy Young though.

 

IMHO Foreman never dissed Holmes because he was the generally more liked fighter.

 

foreman didn't prepare so well, i think a bunch of guys win that fight.

Holyfield is wayyyy to easily drawn into slugfests. That will be his downfall here.

I'm not as fond of Louis as I used to be. He found himself on the canvas 10+ times against subpar punchers. I don't think his durability was ever quite the same after the first Schmeling fight.

Holmes is difficult, like Holy he tries to fight his way out of trouble way when hurt, and even in his prime he was hurt or even nearly knocked out by the likes of Weaver, Snipes, and Shavers. Neither hit nearly as hard as Foreman (except Shavers) nor were they anywhere near the punchers Foreman was.

I thought about Fury but he went life and death with Wilder twice, was dangerously close to being knocked out on 4 different occasions, and dropped twice in a single round. Foreman was much better than Wilder in every way except speed and power, and even the latter is arguable.

 

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but are you saying young Foreman has better footwork than Usyk?
