$39.99, IMO, is an absurd price to ask, in a practical sense. For the record, $44.99 for the Jackson-Griffin UFC card on PPV is ridiculous as well.

But nowadays most people are used to paying these unheralded fees.

There are still some good, solid fighters at 185 for Silva to fight. Not that any of them have much of a chance, but I think Silva should stick around to defend that title some more times.

Yushin Okami comes to mind. I don't know if Dana White would be willing to sign Cung Le for a fight, but he's there. Same thing with Frank Shamrock and Valisinor, or "Ninja" Rua. More realistically, the winner of the Patrick Cote-Ricardo Almeida fight is in line for a shot. The guy who beat Nate Marqaurdt, or even Kendall Grove.

Ive had to make lifestyle changes in order to afford the PPVs I want. I dont use my truck anymore so no gas spending,I cut my phone bill down by 15 dollars,I eat less now 3-4 meals instead of 6 and stopped buying beer and pot :fire

  4. The only person that's not going to like Silva moving up in weight will be James Irvin.

Irvin is a decent test for Anderson, and if he pulled off the upset, it wouldn't shock me all that much. He did upset Houston Alexander in all of 4 seconds. With that said, I think Silva's debut at 205 will be quite successful. I don't think he'll run through the division, but I like that he wants to fight. I like that he's willing to move up in weight and still take on a tough customer.

Silva going to 205 would IMO be good for him it seems like the guys who trouble him the most are good grapplers and 205 isnt really stacked with those type guys. Almost everyone wants to stand like Wanderlei,Shogun,Rampage,Forrest,Liddell,Jardine,Soko ETC I dont believe theres a better striker in MMA then Anderson Silva. I think hed take out the entire divison.

It's gonna be funny seeing them idiots at 205 trying to stand up against Silva  , that's why this move up is so exciting because many are gonna actually think they can live with this guy on their feet.
