Who else feels '11 Adamek would be tuff as nails for '53 Marciano? I sure as hell do.

    Adamek is just too big and too strong for marciano. Also adamek has granite chin so I dont think 188 marciano would KO him.

    Adamek at HW is about the level of Harry Matthews..not Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore.

    And Harry Matthews was a good fighter, so no disrespect.

    Harry Mathews might have cleaned up today's CW division the same as Adamek. Wins over Beshore and the slipping Layne are about on par with Arreola.

    And LaStarza is better than Adamek..sorry. Both padded their records, but LaStarza was generally looked at was one of the best defensive fighters of his era, comparable to Chris Byrd of today minus the really excellent wins. But there was never any doubt, LaStarza had the goods.

    I almost died laughing, really. Marciano has a puncher's chance, but only a Klitschko can knock Adamek down or out, so Marciano loses. Marciano is just too small. I don't even know if Marciano could dominate the CW division these days.

    Do some older (60+) fans really think 190 pound Marciano could and would beat V.K., or even the 2011 version of a 217 pound Tomasz Adamek who was game, yet too small and weak for the mammoth V.K.?????
