Who else felt very sorry for Salita?

    He came across as a very down to earth guy, well spoken and polite.

    To spend 3 months training and for it to end the way it did must be devastating.

    :good I do. I like the guy. Articulate and genuine nice guy. It's the hurt game and it can be cruel and he was way out of his depth tonight. I hope he can regroup and go up to welterweight and work on his problems and have some good learning fights and see where it takes him.

    A little, he had some good research going, saying Khan's chin was triangle shaped and that meant he had a glass chin.

    Personally yes as he seemed a nice guy but proffesionally no. It was a world title fight and saying you start slow is no excuse.

    Salita looked gutted as he walked off the ring.

    Hope he speaks up during the post-fight presso although he must feel a tit for all the "chinny" talk in the build-up to the fight this week.

    He's gotta blame his management for not allowing him to develop against suitable opposition over the last 31 fights- his padded record should never have warranted a mandatory place for a world title contest.

    Khan did not choose the colour of his shorts - it was done by Reebok who provide his kit.

    I'm guessing the green was more reflective of the religious media hype as opposed to Khan's personal preference for Pakistan.
