Who else Hates Lampley and Merchant?

although merchants post-fight interviews can be amusing if he riles the fighter.....

 

As bad as they can be sometimes. They are still the best broadcast team out there in my opinion.

 

Awful. They need to get rid of the two of them and employ Robin Williams and Chris Rock. They know just as little about boxing but they're funny!

 

I feel the same way, except about Max Kellerman.

 

I can't say I hate them.I have plenty of times when I don't agree with them but overrall they do a great job.

 

I'm a brit but have seen some HBO coverage in the past and those two along with Kellerman are very annoying but do a good job i have to say.Larrys one liners are priceless

 

I can get away with Lampley but merchant is a dick. If you watch the pavlik miranda fight you can hear him basically arguing with Lennox Lewis on which strategy both fighters should use. Who would u rather train you. ex, hall of fame Heavyweight legend or Merchant with his erm.........erm......microphone??? lol

Merchant is the man now Lampley is just a cheerleader.

 

I like them very much, and i think you're way better than for instance the Showtime commentators. Merchant tells it the way he sees it, and Lampley keeps you excited about the fight. Although i'll admit Larry has seen better years.

 

Lampley may not be the most objective around but hes simply the best in terms of the actual communication side of broadcasting and getting fans excited about the fight. Merchant looks like hes ready to keel over, i think he needs to go.

 

most of the guys that dont like Merchant is cause he probably said something bad about theyre favourite fighter and they got ofended.

Thats a huge part of it i think. But to be honest, especially to the casual fans that buy the odd PPV but don't really look too much into the sport, i think they are the best.
