Who else here think that Roy Jones, Jr just deserved the beating..

well it wasn't a one sided beat down until the last couple of rounds. sure rjj deserved to get showboated on, but calzaghe sucks at showboating

 

Saw an interview ages ago with Eubank and he told an interesting story. When Jones won his SMW title he wanted to defend against a genuine but relativley easy opponent and Calzaghe,s name was mentioned. So he gets in touch with Eubank to get a feel for whats he like to fight. Upon which E ubank replies that yes he should fight him but if he does he should accept that there is a very good chance that he will lose because Calzaghe was the best fighter he had ever fought.

 

Jones deserved every bit of the beating and the humiliation that Joe C gave him. for years Jones showed a lack of sportsmanship to the others he fought. So why should we as fans feel bad for him? Do on to others...... you reap what you sow...... what goes around comes around..... and last but not least, Karma's a *****!

By the time Calzaghe fought Eubank, Jones had left SMW and was a LHW title-holder.
