    The poll is a little biased too. You have the option of "feeling sorry for Jones" or you think Calzaghe made him look like "a retiring fireman". Whilst Jones lost decisively I don't think " a retiring fireman" is a fair assessment of Jones' performance. LOL.

    Froch was dazed and on the ropes when Jermain tried. Jermain needed activity to keep Froch lost, watch everyone Jermain decide to throw Froch was instantly lost and standing still.

    I'm not starting any excuses, Taylor DID run out of gas, that's what ended it for him. The man stopped throwing punches from round 6 to 10 and was literally moving throwing a few punches here and there CLEARLY trying to save energy. He has stamina issues, anyone will tell you the same and this isn't an excuse, it's a flaw Froch took advantage of and won fair and square, simple as that. In boxing you feed off other fighter's flaws and mistakes, that's how you win/catch them.

    An active fighter that will keep punches coming is dangerous for Froch who has **** poor stamina and speed to counter. You put him against Calzaghe, that's like throwing a Turkey in the oven. It's not even going to be hard for Calzaghe.

    Yep, an active fighter with Jermains skill and 12 round stamina will be dangerous for Froch (or anyone!). When that happens and Froch loses I'll admit he's been beaten by the better man.

    As I said so earlier, it is really painful to see someone like Jones whom with that kind of talent , should not have allowed himself to be beaten like a rag for 12 straight rounds, let alone was embarrassed "Roy Jones" way.

    Maybe it is for money, or he thought he could actually beat Calzaghe at that point, but he knew what was coming when he signed that one.

    I don't know, what exactly is "deserving" a beating? Two guys go in the ring and one guy often gets an ass-kicking.

    In terms of the taunting, some people felt it classless. I didn't mind, as Jones has taunted fighters too. I just prefered Calzaghe to not look so silly doing it with that stupid like shimmy.

    Spot on.


    He could have fought him. He could have pushed for it. He was the money man right there.

    Or he could have just said no when the fight was offered to him at this point.

    yeah, he was a calzaghe fan to. you CAN be a fan of both but he seemed to have a pretty personal, anti jones agenda
