I wish this fight was next month.....as I said previously...Manny is a creation of the media and has way too many delusional fanatics....he is good, but that is as far as it goes.....there may not be much of him left for Gayweather...
Nov 14th will dispell the misguided notion that Manny is an impervious, undisputed superman.

OK, he squeaked by Marquez....and had a rough going with Morales.....
he starched a dummy in Hatton who rushes in with gloves at waist level...
then he looked stellar against an over the hill cement in the boots Oscar.

Is that really impressive ? Seriously, are you that mesmerized by the press?

Cold fact....Cotto will inflict serious damage and I really hope the ref is attentive and alert because Manny could be seriously damaged in this fight !!!

I'm a Cotto fan, however I'm trying to be objective here.....

What are your thoughts on this ?

I think Manny gets another fight with a fighter who lacks defense.

The 'dummy Hatton' whom he starched was easily the best 140 pounder on the planet and had only been beaten once - at WW by Floyd Mayweather in 10 rounds. 'Cement in his boots' or not, he fought DLH the ex p4p champ at WW, i.e. jumping two divisions, and blew him out.

    You are a hater.

cotto is a warrior and the naturally bigger fighter, but if pac catches anyone from 140-147 w/ that same left hook that sparked hatton cold....

all i'm saying is yes, cotto may very well win the fight, but in no way should pac be counted out

Actually I'm not a hater....the only boxer I hate is Margie...Freddy-Wak can attest to this....

I'm just echoing a lot of English sentiments....what I am hearing from the ones I have spoken with is disgust and anger towards Hatton....they call him idiot.

First of all there was this terminally ill kid who was holding Hatton's belt in the ring who mustered all effort and energy to travel and support Hatton and also being his last wish in life.
Hatton promised over and over that he was a different fighter...he would use prudence and defense....also, that you can bet your mortgage....ect.
Do I need to keep going about why I call Hatton a dummy irrespective of his record ???

Don't be too confident on that . . . it works two ways. It might be Pacquiao starching Cotto. :D

What will you do then if that happens? Change your handle to hide? :yep

    :rofl

Speed kills. PAC will beat him to the punch all night. Maybe even stop him late.

I won't change anything....just like Trinidad Sr. and many others in Puerto Rico...that if Manny wins we will take our hats off to him....

However, that is not going to happen !!!!

I will be here....I'm not going anywhere !!!!

Good to hear from you dude....haven't seen you in a while.

    Cotto got outboxed by Malinaggi

Quitted against a crude fighter with little to none boxing skills

Was put on the canvas against Torres

Was doing the chicken dance against Corley

Ran for the last 4 rounds against Mosely

Was saved by a off balance knockdown that decided the Clottey fight

Cotto is just a product of the man love HBO has made of him.

I agree with you, I wish this fight was next month already.

Speed kills when you are racing through a red light.

In this case I really do hope he has speed on his bicycle !!!!!

I don't know if you ever heard of a fighter named Nino LaRocca ....an African who was fighting out of Italy.
This guys gloves would disappear while punching....literally....until he met the
" Cobra " Curry who starched him !!!!!

    Lofl lofl lofl.

Thanks for the laugh. That's about the funniest thing I've heard all week. Just imagine his poor confused dying face the moment when Hatton was prostrate on the floor? 'but i don't understand'...
Hatton himself was a media creation of the sort you are claiming PAC is. He had come to believe he was an unbeatable 'monster' like the papers said he was. Nevertheless he had still proven himself as the best 140 pounder in the world so you can't just write off PAC's win over him, especially since it was a domination and PAC was the smaller man.
