Thats my point I'm not saying Hatton is a bum....I'm saying Manny got a gift that night with Hatton fightng like a dummmmmy!!!!

Rushing in with gloves at waist level !!!!

He did connect somewhat of an uppercut and stung Manny pretty good...no effective follow up !!!!

In essence ....Manny fought a dummmmmy of a fight !!!!!

creation of media?! pac was already a 2-weight and 1-time lineal champ even before media finally discovered him with his TKO win vs. barrera in 2003. the guy is now a 6-weight and boxing's only 4-time lineal champ having fought through 10 weight divisions in his career. with accomplishments like that, pac can certainly back up the "hype" media is currently heaping on him.

by virtue of him being the much bigger and stronger man, cotto definitely does have the puncher's chance here. the question is if he can land that homerun punch though given pac's speed, movement, workrate, stamina, accurate punching and himself having some punching power too.

your confidence in your fighter is certainly commendable. but you don't have to go to the extent of belittling the status and accomplishments of a great fighter like pac in an effort just to uplift your own fighter. cotto's own status and accomplishments should stand by themselves. or are you saying that they don't?

Not at all....I said Manny is a very good fighter....however, he has been elevated on some pedestal as an impervious superman.
I would say Manny is an Elite fighter....no hate....I'm just concerned that he is going to seriously get hurt....I don't know what Roach is thinking?

I think Roach is banking on his little tricks to gain advantage on the other fighter....like he is always boasting that he does....

Trust me ....it is not going to work on Cotto....he doesn't read the press nor does he watch videos of opponents....he feels that he is the better man and will be prepared to bring it and you better bring it...and let the better man win !!!!

Bottom line....it is going to be a good night for all of us......minus the Pacquiao fans unfortunately !!!!

I can c Miguel Cotto winning, but PAC is able to move on his feet and land some quick and heavy shots. I also can c the PACmonster buzzing the Boriqua early and throughout a hotly contested battle. Pacquaio is definitely a worthy P4P entrant. With MP's amazing speed and power and agility, he was able to stop and beat some great fighters. He reminded me of a crude MAyorga at 147. Now, the Pinoy icon is a more complete fighter since Freddy Roach and his limited, yet devastating 1-2. He throws intelligent and POWERFUL combinations. He's almost as fluid as JMM in his combos, but there's none like Marquez. His footwork was brilliant versus DLH and Hatton. He knows how to use his power and speed to perfection. His timing and balance have become center of his game with speed and power following. KUDOS TO FREDDY ROACH!! With that, he stands a STRONG chance against Cotto. Now look at Miguel...powerful with deceptive handspeed and solid boxing skills. What stands out the most for me from MC is his POWER and RESILIENCY. His low pts are his tenacity (actually is a strength and weakness) and defense. He loves to brawl which opens him up for Torres hooks and Clottey right hands or Margarito uppercuts. That's why we love him! We, as fans, get our monies worth!

    Bottom line:
Cotto hits hard and goes to the body. MP is FAST and hits HARD. Can MC's chin hold up? Can PAcquaio deal with the resiliency of a rough, tough, squat bulldog? If they both go to the Ch. rds who will have the stamina and heart? Damn! What a fight!!

Enzo, you without question have one of the hottest avatars and are very knowledgeable....someday when I grow up...I hope to be like you....but for now, I don't know a lot of things....I personally know Cotto and can tell you that he is going to starch the hell out of Pacuiao and is not for one moment intimidated or awed by him as you are !!!!!

    As a Cotto-hater, I am absolutely crushed.:verysad

When I heard Cotto was fighting Pac, I felt like someone dashed me in the face with a cup of gasoline...

Make no mistake about it. Cotto will beat the ****ing breaks off of Pac, and then I have to hear you Cotto-***gots talking about how good he is. This is devastating...:verysad

Tell me, of those fighters listed how do you see Pac fairing against all of them at the same weights and at the same primeness Cotto fought them at? Personally i'd say not very ****ing well with most of them.
