:good I don't think he's ready to win a fight against Wlad right now, but you never know what can happen- Calzaghe made Hopkins look his age with workrate and conditioning, and that seems to be the gameplan Tyson is working towards. Even though I favor Wlad's top-level experience and precise power punching to carry the day, Tyson's got the right mentality to learn from a loss and come back better. He's going to be a serious player in the post-Wlad era.
Fury certainly has talent. But rooting for an undedicated self confessed binge eater and drinker not making the most of his god given talent who cheated to get the KO against a cruiserweight and is planning to take a long lay off after this fight at the age 27, is that really what we boxing fans should do? It would be a real travesty if someone like that stopped an ATG with unparalleled dedication in the HW division who was trained by one of the greatest scholars of the sport, Emanuel Steward and with one of the longest title reigns in history, who has been undefeated for more than 11 years. Fury is a very funny and charismatic guy, but his heart doesn't seem to be in boxing. He has often spoken about how dreadfull he thinks training camps are and that he only fights for money. After the David Haye fight he said he would retire and probably gained more than 50 pounds over christmas. I really dread the thought that someone like him is the future of heavyweight boxing.
latin og listen homie The last time Wlad lost 10 years ago he was poisoned. Yeah that is probably true. Fury doesnt need to resort to cheating tactics. Brewster is the kinda guy that blocks punches with his face. Fury is much talented boxer than Brewster. We dont wanna hear excuses. Are we gonna hear Wlad go "oh me water bottle was poisoned." " Me age is the only reason for losing." ?
I agree, hopefully he doesn't take the loss hard if he does lose, the confident types usually tend to be quite fragile mentally.
never get sick of being dead wrong, do you? gotta love someone who will shamelessly stick to their agenda, i guess.
Fury has made big strides. His improvement is noticeable. I just think Wlad is all wrong for him so soon. However if he remains dedicated this could be an invaluable lesson for him going forward.
Yep i cant wait. Im a Fury fan, hes an absolute fruit loop and so entertaining. Cant see how he possibly wins this fight but you never know, hes got some pro,s, coaches and other expert types believing it. All of a sudden, to me, its feeling like one of those old school huge heavyweight nights we got with the Tysons and Holyfields of the sport. (No dig at Vlad just the lack of other stars in the division)
Super hyped to see the Brit****s cry all over the place again tomorrow. And it's always a treat to see those loudmouthed muppets get sparked out, especially by 40yo jabbing robot. Fury will be crawling around on all fours before the third. Whos next?
Eh, moderately hyped. More of a mismatch than several recent Klitschko challengers (Povetkin, Jennings, and Pulev)
Wow man , you really forget Wlad is almost 40 and much slower, less powerfull , his jab and his defence is not what it use to be. Prob for the first time I think Wlad is the underdog, but anyway I hope you're right.
