Who Else is Through with Cintron?

would he comeback to ringsidereport?

 

Issues are mental with Cintron. Mentally, he is not a fighter, nor does he behave like a fighter or has natural fighter's instincts (intelligence).

I recall not long ago there were a few threads were people were picking Cintron over Berto. I did not agree and still don't. Berto is a class above Cintron, and although Berto still lacks experience, he has shown improvement in each fight, while Cintron has regressed.

 

Feel bad for Martinez, have just watched the fight......Cintron just doesn't have any heart.


Hopefully they will do what they did with Rahman vs. Toney and change the fight post-results.....Martinez deserved that win, even if he doesn't get a K.O the scoring was completely dodgy. I gave only two rounds to Cintron (well three, but take a point away for the KD as well)

Shocking judging. I heard some thought Funeka deserved the win over Nate, haven't managed to watch that though.

 

I agree. **** that ref, **** those judges. Martinez knocked Kermit out and won 9 out of 12 rounds easily yet was screwed in to a draw. What the **** was that? That was a goddamn fiasco. That fight was a joke. Jesus Christ.

Would beat them both easily but can the fight be made?

Damn, hopefully Forrest will just do what's right and give Martinez a shot at the WBC, what Martinez deserves for 'beating' Cintron.

Cintron....Geez, I don't know what he should do. He just doesn't seem up for it anymore, his punch resistance his poor, his power now seems overrated. It seems the two Margo beatings have had the same effect on Cintron that Calzaghe had on Lacy, he seems reluctant to pull the trigger now, doesn't want to seem to be able to commit to the fight.


Martinez would give P-Dub a great fight. Hopefully if the Forrest fight gets made for June/July Martinez vs. Williams in Oct/Nov/Dec can be made.

As I think Martinez will beat Forrest.

 

I was pulling for Cintron but it looks like he does not even care at times.

 

I'm happy Margarito embarrassed him by making him cry, with loaded wraps or not. He's a ****ing arrogant piece of ****, and a crybaby :yep

 

17 yr old is to late to get into boxing, he fights like he has no idea what to do. To make matters worse he chose ronnie shelds as his trainer. Probably wouldn't make a differance. I did see his brother fight and he is alot better than he is, he seems more natural.

 

come on Farmy, he isn't very good and he is an ******* on top of it. He got embarrassed in there tonight, and then he embarrassed himself with the whole 10 count episode and then that lame ****ing dance after the fight. He got his ass handed to him and he knew it, why do you think it took so long for him to raise his arms after the fight, he had to think about it. He sucks.

Yup, hate to say it, But Cintron is in the shitter. Like others said, I've tried to get on board, but starting with Feliciano (that was on the Mayorga/Vargas card right?) fight, and leading up to what I saw last night. He can go....that is all.

On the flip side, I don't know much about Martinez, but he looked both fast and powerful. Plus the evil grin after he was fooked out of his KO was sort of cool. I might rather watch out for him instead.
