Once the Klitschko brothers are gone, the heavyweight division will be a lot worse off. They are two of the few heavyweights out there who show up to fight in shape and stay in peak condition in between fights.

Not every fighter has to be a showboater like the great Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali. Guys like Joe Louis just came to do a job every night out and did it. The Klitschko brothers carry out their business like true professionals.

For the record, Wladimir definitely does have some charisma. It's mostly the subtle things he does, like the Povetkin press conference (with an absent Povetkin). Wlad's call out of Haye was also well played. Both Vitali and Wladimir have their own style.

Not wanting to see them dominate the opposition that exists out there is one thing, but saying you want them gone from the division is something else. Maybe we should hope that the rest of the heavyweights out there will step up their game and take boxing as seriously as the Klitschkos do outside of the ring.

The fight was far from boring I guess you prefer Haye vs Valuev? James Toney is a **** fighter who is out of shape and has not won a meaningful fight in years. Nobody is avoiding him. To say they are is delusional.

    Typical sub-moronic boxing forum thread.

Vitali and Wladimir are far and away the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Both are nice guys, especially Vitali. But they're simply the best of a terrible bunch.

See above. Where do they collect these posters? In fact - despite the constant propaganda from the controlled US media, echoed by the sub-morons on these sub-moronic boxing forums - the heavyweight division is better now than it has ever been in the past, with bigger and stronger fighters, and far more international in scope. The media-hyped up "super heroes" of the past, like Cassius Clay alias M Ali, would be like pathetic midgets in the ring with either Klitschko. What's more, they never even fought a single Russian or eastern European, or even Cuban, fighter.

The Lewis fight tells you all you need to know about what happens when you chuck one of these guys in with a genuine ATG, even a far, far past his peak ATG.

The Klitschko's are the best heavies around right now. What's boring to me is that there are so many heavies who are completely terrible. fat, out of shape, no skills. # for # the heavies are utterly terrible. Vitali and Wlad have flaws, but they are big, and good boxers. That's all it takes to dominate this **** class. Why on earth was Briggs even fighting one of the best heavies in the world? Briggs was a second rate contender in his prime...

Why do so many equate having charisma with acting like some ghetto trash thug?

To make it real simple who would you rather have your daughter bring home? One of the Klitschkos or Tyson? I was going to use Lewis but being gay sort of deflates my point.
