At his best, I would have favoured him to have beaten everybody today. That's not to say he definitely would have won, but I'd have favoured him.

I don't think he'd have ran through them like they were nothing.

My opening post in response to the TS, said: "Schooling all of them is an exaggeration"

You obviously missed that though, seeing as though you can't be arsed to read posts.

Please send me a notification when your brain has absorbed the above information.

    Cheers.

Roy is one of those once in a life time type fighters that would do well in his prime in any era you placed him in. Jones didnt have textbook skill, but he had unbelievable physical gifts that allowed him to get away with things others could not. He cleared out LHW except the other top fighter DM--and I believe both guys share equal blame in not making that fight. But i never saw anything in DM that would lead me to believe he could overcome RJJ's obvious physical advantage.

You've not upset me, you've just wasted my time.

If you wanted, we could have a decent debate. But it's clear you're just looking for an argument.

Each post you make is weaker than the previous one.

I don't know if you think you're being witty or not, but you're now contributing absolutely nothing.

Look at the absolute desperation in this post.

    I actually pity you.

At this stage, I genuinely don't know whether you're being serious or not.

For you're own sake, I hope that you are.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you calling Beterbiev the "LHW GGG" and championing that he's the future killer of Ward/Stevenson? His wis over Tavoris Cloud and Gabriel Campillo are enough for you to warrant such claim, but Roy's campaign in 5 weight classes, winning titles in 4 of them, scoring wins over several quality opponents two of which are over certified ATG at their respected physical primes isn't?

    Strange.

The top 2 were obviously Roy and Dariusz.

Apart from those, the others were interchangeable, depending on the timeframe and who's rankings you looked at.

At LHW, Roy missed a few guys. He missed guys like Nunn and Roch. But as you know, you can't fight everybody. It's impossible. And in my honest opinion, guys like Roch and Nunn, were really no better than the likes of Hill and Tarver etc.

The biggest fights out there were always hard to make. Otherwise we'd have seen him fight Dariusz and Bernard in 2001 and 2002.

It's a shame the fight with Dariusz never happened. But I think despite them not fighting, Roy had a claim to being considered the best LHW.

He has a better overall resume at LHW.

He beat the same opponents much easier.

Like I mentioned in my earlier post, claiming that Roy was better than Dariusz, is just the same as claiming that Joe was a better SMW than Ottke, despite the fact that they obviously never fought each other.

    Ignore what evidence?

HBO backed him when he publicly said he'd tried to fight the likes of Liles.

    Here:

    This content is protected

Mark Taffet of HBO also said that Bernard demanded $10m to fight Roy in 2002. And when they couldn't reach a compromise, Bernard took a year out, before fighting the likes of Morrade Hakkar for peanuts.

    You can have the links.

You can also have further links regarding Liles, Holyfield and Dariusz.

    I'll post them up.

The problem, is that it would just be a complete waste of my time. Because you are one of the most ignorant posters on this forum.

Oh, so you now rate Hill as a legitimate opponent?

That's funny, because you said earlier that Roy didn't beat a legitimate opponent for a 10 year period, after he'd beaten Toney in 1994.

How silly do you look now?

So either Roy did face a legitimate opponent in Hill, or you can just dismiss him from Dariusz's resume too.

    It's your call.

Apart from Hill, who else did Dariusz beat, who could be considered a legitimate opponent?

You are so easy to expose.

You say that Roy was overrated and he didn't fight any legitimate opponents for 10 years. You also deeply criticise him for not fighting Dariusz. Yet Dariusz had a lesser resume than what Roy did. So you hate Roy, but you big up Dariusz as this great fighter who he ducked. This is despite the fact that Dariusz's biggest win, was over a guy who you didn't class as a legitimate opponent for Roy.

    You're an absolute joke.

Keep the posts coming though, it's a great source of entertainment.

    Completely agree.
People forget how good Roy was, and his resume shows just how good. Roy and his quickness and absolute nightmare for Ward and likewise Kovalev who struggled to hit Ward from mid point in their fight.
Roy makes him look stupid, and I like Kova.
