You can ask whatever you like, but I'm just pointing out that it makes you look like a fool.

You're rightfully saying that until you see more of Artur, you wouldn't be able to favour him over Andre and Sergey etc. Now you should be saying the same thing in regards to a fantasy fight with Roy. But instead of that, you're asking who has Roy fought that resembles Artur, and are questioning anybody who's said that they'd have favoured Roy. Common sense should tell you that at this stage of Artur's career, Roy has to be favoured. It's only logical. Wait until he's had some more fights before discussing it further.

What do you mean if??? Have I not made it clear enough yet? :risas3:

Tell me who the top 3 'non Roy' LHW's were in Roy's era?

Why are you struggling with this basic of questions?

I really don't get what's funny here, apart from your obvious lack of knowledge.

I would have heavily favoured the best version of Roy at LHW, over any version of Adonis. Sure, if Adonis had caught Roy like Tarver did, he'd have been out for a week. There's no doubt about that. Adonis is a huge puncher. But compared to Roy, he's static, pretty easy to hit, and he's over reliant on his left hand. Have you watched his career unfold? I have. Roy's speed would have caused him a huge amount of trouble. Seriously, go and watch some of his fights, and watch Roy in the mid to late 90's.

You're very easy to read. Your brain basically tells you that Tarver knocked Roy out, Adonis hits much harder, therefore it would have been a foregone conclusion had Roy fought Tarver. That's the logic (or lack of) that you've brought to the table. But it doesn't work like that. There's 2 things to consider here:

    1. The version of Roy who lost to Tarver, was not the best version of Roy who fought at LHW. Roy lost to Tarver in 2004, but he moved up from SMW late in 1996. Roy had slowed down by the time he fought Tarver. The best versions of Roy who fought at LHW, were the versions from 1997-1999, who'd fought Griffin, Hill and Johnson. They were fresher and sharper. Roy fought Tarver at 35, after losing muscle to come back from HW, after 50 fights. You could clearly see the difference between that guy, and the one who'd iced Griffin.

    2. Adonis would have needed the perfect opportunity to have caught Roy flush. A possibility? Sure. But likely? No. Those late 90's versions of Roy would have been too fast for him. Overall, Roy had a great record with the southpaws he fought in his prime.

So: Although Roy never fought a guy exactly like Adonis, he beat southpaws who were as good as/better than, technically, whereas Adonis has never even seen anybody that even resembles Roy. Earlier in his career, (and not later like Roy) he was taken out by Darnell Boone. Here's the knockout:

    (very poor quality)

Here's what he'd have faced, if he'd have fought the best version LHW version of Roy:

In a fantasy fight, where both guys were at their absolute best, fighting to their full capabilities, Roy would have to be favoured.

You must be one of the dumbest posters on the forum.

I've just given you the list.

I CAN'T PUT THEM IN A SPECIFIC ORDER, BECAUSE AFTER DARIUSZ AND TARVER, THE GUYS LISTED WERE OF SIMILAR ABILITY, AND THEY WERE INTERCHANGABLE.

    DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Does that mean he beats every LHW then? You are taking this personal for both you & RJJ, it is not. I do not argue he was a great fighter.. I just like to separate man from myth. It is 2017 now son.. Move on.

Why can't you give a straight answer? Are you really saying Stevenson wouldn't be able to catch Jones? You asked the question. I pointed out two southpaws who did.. Tarver & Derek Acorah. Yes or No? All that was pointless. I never disagreed that Roy could catch AS.
