lol Reg Johnson fought both the #1 and #2 ranked most glass-jawed light-heavyweights of all time and he couldn't stop either of them. Let that sink in.

Jones is obviously number one and this chap below is number two.

Four of Klemetsen sixes loses came via the short route and he was brutally KO'd in three of them. Only one other man failed to stop him apart from Johnson. Even Clinton Woods got him out of there and when Woods wasn't training at the bar he was doing so down at the greasy spoon.

And Johnson lost x 2 to blown up welter Jorge Castro. They used to refer to Castro as ''El Rona'' back home in his native Argentina (which translates to ''The Dirt'' in English) because he lived in a skip and only turned up to the gym to train on public holidays.

I remember reading a feature on him in a boxing magazine many moons ago where an Argentine boxing scribe said he was notorious in his homeland for his total aversion to training. He only took up road work like eight months or so before he fought Roy, for the Terry Norris fight.

He also suffered a terrible bicycle accident in his teens that was so bad doctors told him that he would never ever be able to pursue a career in boxing.

''He [Castro] has something of a playboy reputation out of the ring.

''He doesn't really like doing the training or the dedicated bit''

And earlier on in his career Johnson lost to a bum named Adam George lol. The following year, after whopping Johnson's ass something terrible George was sparked out cold in 4 rounds by a 0-1-0 Ugandan wino. It wasn't the first time George had been sparked out cold by a bum either.

Johnson is one of the worst fighters to ever hold a strap in the history of the sport. The only fighter of note he ever beat was Steve Collins and that fight wasn't just a hometown decision it is one of the worst robberies I've ever seen.

Johnson wouldn't beat Brian Rose or Tommy Langford if he was around today.

I confess I might have been a tad harsh on Reggie in that post.

I should be arrested under the terrorist act for the havoc I wreak on Roy Jones threads

    Ha!

I was just about to respond to it.

Reggie was a good fighter. The problem I have with your post, is that I've now got to go and watch the Castro fights.

Do you really think Steve Collins was robbed?

    What about the Toney fight?

I wish I could have been sat next to Don King, when he took out William Guthrie. Guthrie was supposed to be the next big thing. That reminded me a little of when Nunn knocked out Kalambay.

Regarding Castro, he was a legend. I think he'd already had 60-70 fights before Roy fought him. He was never a WW. I'm sure they could make a film based upon his life.

Sorry mate I'll reply to this tomorrow I'm absolutely knackered to the point I can barely keep my eyes open. I've only had about 10 hours sleep in 3 days and I've just killed my eyes doing that long post in the Lomachenko thread. I copy and pasted it but it was awkward to do and I had to make lots of adjustments to get the layout right. It took me about 20 minutes lol.

Ward beats him, Kovalev knocks him out. Doesnt matter anyway since he wont pass the VADA or USADA drug testing had he competed today. There is nothing sadder than people buttressing a complete stranger to the levels of invincibility. Maybe people do this to compensate for some innate deficiency.

Does that mean he beats every LHW then? You are taking this personal for both you & RJJ, it is not. I do not argue he was a great fighter.. I just like to separate man from myth. It is 2017 now son.. Move on.

If I asked you for a list of top 10 fighters from each division you would give a list. If i asked you for a top 10 p4p list you would give one. I ask you for RJJ's top 3 LHW's & you equate them to a train timetable.

So Johnson had the same ability as Nunn Bumboclart?
