Billy, you've misunderstood my post. I didn’t say Ricky can’t punch to the body (IMO that’s what won him the fight against Martinez), just that Katsidis is far superior on the inside. His bodywork is underrated considering how effectively he uses it.

Again though you show a lack of courtesy to what was a fair opinion, worded clearly. There's no need for that.

I like Ricky a great deal but I look at the fights honestly. He’d have beaten Broner, but Katsidis isn’t an unproven novice, he’s a bona fide world-class brawler with some very nice skills.

I’ll gladly take you up on the gym visit though. You’re only a 30 minute drive from me and it’d be good to meet you and Ricky (if possible). Then hopefully you’ll understand I’m a genuine fan but also a realist.

Massively looking forward to this fight. Katsidis is one of my favorite foriegn boxers and tries to always entertain and Burns seems a great lad with plenty of ability. Should be a very nice clash.

Frank is definately banking on him being on the decline i as well think he is definately on the slide he has been in to many wars and think he took some real nasty shots against Guerrero who boxed brillant that night...
I think this is a massive risk for Ricky but i actually think he can win this, im not a dislusional fan but i do think Katsisdis team should of pulled him out earlier in the bout against Guerrero they were real heavy sickening shots he took and i thought to myself that night he was on the slide.
Katsisdis great warrior but been hit to much...

Strange fight to take instead of Broner. Was surprised when I heard about it.

I am guessing that Fwank thinks that going to America to fight Broner means a sure loss (given hometown bs nowadays). He might think that Katsidis has taken too many beatings and there might be a chance if Burns makes it to the end of the fight (possible robbery or gift at the end of it if possible). If not, at least a Katsidis win means that the rematch with Mitchell would be big in the UK.

Dunky and co have made it quite clear that Burns is not one our countrymen.

Boxing is an individual sport anyway. They aren't representing nations.

Well, some would argue that they are representing nations.

However even still, you have to be able to logically analyse a fight and consider who the victor will be without just looking at two fighters and choosing one to beat the other because he is from the same country you are.
