I just can't see Martinez winning a decision, he needs the ko and I can't see that happening. I see this going the same way as PAC v Bradley. pretty much everyone scoring the fight for Martinez but jr getting the decision.

You can't guess the result of this one.

It's possible but I think it slowly but surely turns into Chavez getting pulverized.

I don't think Arum sticks his hands into fights of this magnitude. Like this is the WORLD MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. He has to have at least that much respect for the sport.

This isn't some bs WBO title fight.

    Martinez KO 11.

    Stranger things have happened.

Hopefully, this bout won't be tainted with some kind of bull****; for some reason it's twice as frustrating when it occurs on a PPV.

A valid point but remember Lewis v Holyfield being scored a draw and that was for the HW titles, when you think about it there's been a lot of questionable decisions in big time championship fights

there are questionable decisions to outright robberies on fights of all levels.....judges suck....they never grade the judges and they never lose their jobs, they always pop up a few months later in another fight because people forget about last week, month ect, the next time a new fight has started

Distinct possibility if Martinez lets it get too close.

Chavez is not going to allow this to go to the cards... I know your all banking on Martinez, You all say that Martinez will knock him out or get robbed.
The truth is coming on the 15th, When Reality gets here, you can all come back and give this kid the credit he deserves, because he will earn it when its over doubters will have no choice but to respect him, or hate on him and come up with excuses on how Barker and Lee softened up Martinez...

    I Love your confidence though....

I think Chavez will win a decision and I will bet accordingly so I don't really care if it's a robbery or not I just have a feeling if it's close it'll go to Chavez

It's not that people forget, it's that no one can do anything about it.

A judge could practically come out publicly and state how much he was paid to alter his scorecard, and he'd STILL be judging the next major fight.

its not going 12 style wise someone is getting knocked out... I think Chavez starts it off with a Body shot and finishes Martinez almost exactly the way Margarito got him
