I don't see it going 12 rounds. If it does and it's close in the slightest, then I think Chavez gets the nod. For Arum, this would be the perfect "out with the old, in with the new" showcase.

Chavez Jr winning is undoubtably the "right" result from the point of view of the people in power in boxing. Martinez isn't a big draw and at his age never will be, Chavez could be, he's alot younger, Mexican, famous surname, plenty of money could be made off him. Sergio is going to have to make sure he wins this one emphatically.

It's definitely possible. I think that's why Sergio might be really going for a KO.

martinez will beat him so bad there's no way the judges can give chavez the nod. don't see a brutal ko but i do see a prolonged beating where chavez's corner might stop it but who knows maybe if they are in on the fix then they'll let him keep getting beat. the more this fight approaches the more i see a fight similar to pacquiao-margarito.

hell yeah, roach was on a roll for while though. sometimes you can pick the winner and maybe even how.but calling the rd and the type of punch is bit much for me.

I think Chavez stops him late, I've said it from day 1, staying with it.
