Really hope you're right, but I feel Hyrgovic is in general underrated. As a heavy, he does everything well.
Ironic as I've spent all week moaning about Fury's dad interfering but Dubois looked a lot more settled when his dad came into the corner midway through the Miller fight.
Dubois will not beat Hrgovic. Although Hrgovic isn't as good as some make him out to be, he's better than Dubois. It's a terrible match for Dubois.
Close fight I reckon, sharing a couple of knockdowns. Neither are terrible, nor are they world beaters.
Hrgovic is a complete unknown quantity still. Could be the next unified champion of the division or he could be a big stiff idiot who Dubois lays out. I wouldn't feel confident making a prediction until we see him against fighters ranked higher than Mark de Mori.
I kind of feel sorry for Dubois. He's a British heavyweight in amongst a pool of "characters" who can talk trash. He just isn't up to that side of it but occasionally tries too hard. If he was a wrestler you'd turn him heel and give him Sam Jones as a manager - then he could just go for it and people would turn up to see him get laid out!
Get his dad in the corner and he has a chance. But seriously Hrgovic has looked one paced but in the wsb he looked electric. This kind of performance must be coming.
Hrgrovic stops Dubois in the latter half of the fight. It wouldn't surprise me if Dubois comes up with yet another quit job.
Never thought I'd see the day where DDD is the only active British fighter carrying a world title around with Fury, AJ, Whyte and Joyce still around haha if he does get up. I think they'll be desperate to make AJ v DDD in September so I think the cards will be slightly in Dubois favour.
Not exactly fair making DDD fight now and again in September, if AJ is idle in between? Then again Joe Parker showed the benefit of staying active...
