I am not very high on Taylor but after seeing Lacy since the Calzaghe fight I have no doubt Taylor will win.

Lacy "retired" and unretired because his team convinced him that this might be his last opportunity to make a good amount of money. I doubt he will be extremely motivated for this fight and I highly doubt we will ever see Jeff Lacy be anything even relatively close to what he was pre-Calzaghe ever again.

It has snoozefest written all over it, Taylor takes a UD in a dreadfully boring fight.

Bingo. Taylor made his rep fighting smaller fighters and getting bogus decisions over aging greats. He is very beatable - this fight is not as one-sided as people make out.

Taylor should be the favorite, yes - but only because he's looked fresher recently, not because he's any better than Lacy.

Ahh, our resident Taylor hater chimes in with his distorted viewpoints.

I think Taylor is going to seriously beat down Lacy and get that knockout win he's wanted the past couple of years

I'll be laughing all night when i collect the money i win from betting on this fight. This is as near certain as any fight can get. A guy whose main weapon was his power which no longer exists. He has no stamina because he's built like a LB. I might be homeless if JT losses. That's how much i'm putting down on this fight. I just hope this fight isn't cancelled.

I'm with you on this one. I'm betting ALL my vCash on this one. Nothing is guaranteed, but this is as close as it gets. This is like Pavlik vs PacMan.

Lacy will probably be more competitive than the poll would suggest

Not because he's actually any good now, although he would have likely beaten him at his prime. But rather because Jermain "Bad Decisions" Taylor is hideously overrated, and losses to Pavlik don't even seem to reflect on him, rather they boost him for remaining so competetive with the latest demi God :patsch

OH BOY, here we go again.

Vastly underrating the American Taylor and Pavlik. How shocking. I can't wait till Taylor fights one of your Euro fighters. I really can't.

Which one is he going to end?

He'd have trouble ending Felix Sturm or Sebastien Sylvester if Spinks/Ouma are anything to go by. But we can't use those fights as part of our appraisal can we, they have been virtually deleted from the history books :-(

The only thing that is going to end is your wild dream that Jermain Taylor is that great.

  15. This is a toss up, i think the beatings JT Took from Pavlik ****ed him up, 50-50 fight here, when is it supposed to happen??
