***Who else was disgusted with the Malignaggi-Cano decision?***

I think the 118 - 109 card was ****in ridiculous, but I won't begrudge anyone thinking Paulie won a close fight. Was a good, entertaining fight. Personally I thought Cano should have gotten a close nod.

 

The only thing that disgusted me was the scorecard in favour of Cano.
That fight was a real pick em at the end and as someone who became a late convert to Paulie,I'd have eaten it if he didn't get the decision and I'd like him to get one big(ish) money fight (Hatton maybe) and get out.
He's heading for trouble at the top of that division.

 

Paulie asked Kellerman the same question after the 1st Juan Diaz fight (which Paulie was clearly robbed off).

I wonder what fight some of you were watching, it was a very close fight largely due to the knockdown in the 11th. Personally i had it 7 rounds to 5 for Paulie, 114-113 for Paulie, exactly the same scores as 2 of the judges, The judge that had it wide for Cano was on crack.

 

Didn't see the fight, but thank Christ Paul pulled through....

I'd call it short of a robbery, but a generous hometown decision.

 

I had Cano winning but fact of the matter is most rounds in this fight were swing rounds. no robbery, almost everyone scoring it had it within 3 points either way. Paulie is definitely finished though.

 

Gotta disagree on Paulie being finished. Paulie has put up some pretty entertaining bouts, and still can. Paulie vs. Josesito Lopez would be great! As would vs. Judah, Matthysse, a Kahn rematch, or Ortiz. And just to clarify, Paulie is NOT on the top level. he's a good top contender who will NEVER be a World Champ (I don't consider all titlists World Champs BTW). He's healthy and, as said, puts up a good bout.

Seems everyone but you knew that if paulie won at least 5 rounds it was gonna be his fight being in brooklyn and him being the champ.

Cano won 4 rounds clearly. Paulie won 2 rounds clearly. That leaves 6 that could've gone either way.

Deal with it and stop being a whiny ***** cause you lost money.
