Those are my thoughts as well. PBF is too young to retire and expect to be a legend or anything close to one. Look at Duran for example, and compare the difference.

    Floyd Mayweather easy.

Floyd beat a top pound for pound fighter in the world. Calzaghe went out beating a shot 39 year old. Anybody that picks Calslappy needs his boxing knowledge license revoked.

Mayweather retired and beat Hatton, a guy who is once again a top 10 p4p fighter and signed to face the number 1 p4p fighter & ATG Pacman.

Joe beat Jones, a guy who was so shot he couldn't KO a super shot Trinidad. Where is Jones now, bout to fight a guy, I dont even know his name. Is he a top dog in his divsion? :bart

Money is a knob but he does leave on a higher a much higher note and could come back and go even higher. The beating of RoyJ is a bit of a sour victory in many fans eyes.
The BHop victory is a great one however. I dont care what anyone says. The Hopkins Joe fought was and still is a great fighter. At the end of the day it was horrible to watch but it was Joe's activity that sapped the strenth from Hop and he got the Win.

Mayweather was more highly regarded, coming off of two of the biggest fights in history, knocking Hatton out, ect. Mayweather, with room.

mayweather for sure. his last fight was KOing an undefeated fighter near his prime. calzaghe's last win was over the shell of rjj and he couldn't even put him away.

Good point, with Mayweather he just retired with a plenty of options
left and questions unsolved (Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, etc).
He also retired as #1 p4p.

Calzaghes only real option to improve legacy is now Dawson.

  13. Calzaghe -by far!

jc -- WAS healthier he fought until he was 37, the little ***** has to retire at 30, because his body was breaking down, or so he says..
His daddy (May) says he retired because he was scared to lose..

Anyone who votes Calzaghe on this is ****ing insane.

    - Mayweather knocked out an unbeaten top 10 p4p guy in a genuinely big and anticipated fight (and PBF performed brilliantly on the night)

    - Calzaghe fooled his own fans into believing in the legitimacy of a farce, fought a man without a title or a win against top ranked opposition in 4 years, got knocked down by and then failed to stop the bloodied corpse of a once-great fighter who had been annihilated by Tarver and Johnson years before

    INCOMPARABLE.
