you CANT win a fight by just sliding away, blocking and spurts here and there...TAYLOR was simply nervous the whole way, TAYLOR won probably like 3 or 4 rounds but even the rounds he won, most coulda gone either way... TAYLOR didnt get robbed, he wasnt even close, he did the same thing HOPKINS did to him the second time was to try to outbox by just standing there and let the other guy lick off punches...and even though PAVLIK looked a little sluggish, (15 lbs over ur actual weight showed) PAVLIK sitll was fighting and fighting, he "disrespected" TAYLORS power by just walking through JT's bombs....Ill tell you like this, up to round 10, i had it even or one point lead to PAVLIK...and PAVLIK ran out and SNATCHED both 11 and 12th rounds for the first time in his career....i had it like that black chik...113 to 115 pavlik...NO ROBBERIES here...besides, MOST of JT'S big wins were "gifts", so this is not **** compared to what he got away with, and if you look at both men after the fight, pav only had a trickle of blood on his nose, and taylor looked like he had downsyndrome...great fight for pavlik...next up, TITO??

I agree. He got gifts vs Bhop twice,. then WInky, then Spinks, he got his ass beat last night, anyone who thinks taylor could have won that fight by bakcing up and fighting 25 seconds a round with a flurry & combination that gets blocked is on crack. I had pavlick winning 9-3, but 8-4 isnt unreasonable. :yep

the ringside judges wide variation in scoring even shows how difficult of a fight it was to score......

    sure it wasn't

i'm not even going to get in a pointless debate

yourself and the threadstater obviously are in the wrong professions. Please instantly drop what you're doing and go start judging fights, because you're impeccible skill is utterly obvious, not to mention the masses of idiots may find your poor attempts at sarcasm amusing.

actually - better idea: go stand in the corner for an hour and think about being an embarassment to the human race.

I think some are ACTING like idiots, because they'd've rather seen JT win, for whatever reason. Bottom line: seems like most agree w/the decision, and there'll always be those who don't agree. A JT win would've been a stretch, imo, but was in the realm of possibility. Either way, it goes down as a "w" for KP.

who gives a ****...Taylor has been in razor sharp decisions with Hopkins TWICE, One with Winky, He even had a close fight with Spinks...Gets KTFO by Pavlik in the 1st fight...Then the 2nd fight is "close" and everyone is having an orgasm in defense of Taylor a guy that everyone had crucified in the past for getting "gift decisions" in all his previous fights.

    THE IRONY!!!!! :rofl :rofl :rofl

lol 15 lbs over his natural weight?? his natural weight is probably 190. weight had nothing to do with it at all, tayor actually defended himself well

  14. Pavlik outladed on Taylor, landed the harder shot's, and was clearly the aggressor, and was clearly the fresher of the 2 when the fight was over, i wish this was an old time 15 rounder JT would have been on his ass again, just like the 1st fight:deal...
You people that thought JT won were either to drunk or diehard fans of his, JT fought the best fight he could have AND STILL LOST:D!!!!!
Pavlik is clearly the better fighter of the 2 if you can't still figure that out you are beyond hope..
