I agree with that. Even the Winky fight Taylor won, because like Kelly
did last night,Jermain came on strong late in the fight to win a close
decision. Kelly has Taylor's number and Jermain should move up to 168.
Once Joe retires which is soon that division will be wide open.

 

I had the fight 116-112 for Pavlik and find it ridiculous how some people are trying to discredit his win. Pavlik clearly won the fight by at least 1 or 2 rounds.

 

How do you figure? All three judges had the fight for Pavlik with all three scoring the fight within 2 rounds of each other.

 

The fight was a good one and competitive and Jermaine did alot lbetter that the first fight. But what happen to the KO victory and easy fight most people were predicting for Pavlik?

 

Indeed. Taylor would have been another guy Hopkins defeated if the correct decision had been rendered in their first fight. And then he went on to collect two more gifts, and a somewhat debatable decision against Spinks. Then he's curiously up on the scorecards when Pavlik starches him in the first fight.

FINALLY, the judges get it right and people are complaining. HBO must've realized they couldn't make any money on this mediocrity.
